@Wykletypl A lack of response like that from a mining company has nothing to do with laziness. It has to do with being too cheap to carry out an expensive rebuilding of a dam that would require shutting down a profitable mine for a long period. This sort of decision occurs over and over again in such disasters all over the world. Any system where safety upgrades require heavy costs and lost profitability is at risk of such bad decision-making.

And of course, it backfired on them - Degrelle couldn't make it out,given the fact his earlier education.
