You realize that 360p refers to the quality of the video in terms of pixels... It has no relation to the quality of the audio. As a general rule of thumb however, when somebody scales a video down to 360p the audio is scaled as well.

BUT, its entirely possible to upload perfectly crisp high quality audio in 360p format since audio quality is in no way related to the quality of the video. In this case the video is just eye candy >_>

Wrong! There are some videos, try some music videos of dubstep, where if you change to 720 the bass comes incredibly more crisp and tight, everything is accented more and stuff.

i took my surrond sound speakers and plugged them in my pc...and this works...it also works with just normal speakers...where you have 2 speakers and 1 bass system

If you are only hearing 2 speakers its because YouTube only uses your front 2 speakers, listen to the track in iTunes and you will get better results.
