Video Review #112: Ivyskin Quattro T4

I have been using this case for 6 months now. I bought it because I work in construction and wanted a sleek/not bulky case yet would protect it from drops. So far I have dropped it 3 or for times off my belt with not brakes at all. I love this case, yet it has 3 things I don't like: 1. The design of the case makes moving App Icons from screen to screen difficult. 2. The headphone input does not accommodate all head phones jacks. And 3. The mute switch is hard to get to turn on and off.

Don't buy IvySkin's batterypack for it, it has a fault. IvySkin are TERRIBLE at giving you your money back, charging you a restocking fee and telling you that the equipment wasn't faulty. I mean, seriously, WTF.

Does this case work with an iPhone 3g that has a screen protector already on it?

I have the Ottobox defender and don't get me wrong it is a great case but I hate the clip and it is just a little to bulky ...... I just bought this case and have read great and terrible reviews on it but to me it looks great good protection and a lot less bulk

I had 2 of these and both feel apart on me, the back top split apart from the front on the seam, even in this video it looks like there are gaps on the top seam where it is not bonded right.

i cleand my iphone and case perfectly and stll scratchet mine up alot.

don't buy this case if you want an iphone without scratches.

Would the this case work if I have a privacy screen on my iPhone as in does the touch screen still work fine and if it will still fit in the case? Thanks

I probably wont fit in the case, it's very snug, not sure if the touch screen would be very accurate either.

is this better than the otterbox defender case because i could get the otterbox for less then this on ebay but this case looks great too

nothing protects better than the otterbox defender. This case is much more streamlined and less bulky than the defender.

Does this case scratch the iPhone in any way? I ask this because I was thinking about buying the Case Mate Naked Case but I saw in your review that it scratched your phone.

I would think it could scratch your phone if there are bits of dust in the case or on the phone hard enough to scratch the surfaces. Would grind the dust on your phone as you inserted it into the case. I just ordered the case and am going to be extra diligent in making sure there is no dust on any surface at time of insertion! I will be pissed it if scratches. My screen is perfect thus far and I want to keep it that way.

I had my suspician when I tried to put on the case and it just slid right on like nothing. No effort whatsoever to take off either. Then I noticed a bunch of scratches on the back of the case and the film that comes on the screen wasn't even aligned like if it were an unopened product. To me, signs of an opened product. Sucks cuz I really liked cuz of your review and itsmemorpheus' review. On and no, I don't have a screen protector on my phone.

This is THE BEST iPHONE 3G CASE. I received it today and purchased it after I saw your video. It is all that and more. Thanks for a great video. The glass screen is soooooo cool

This case is a piece of junk in my opinion. I sent mine back. It seems like a good idea but the glass is very thin and looks like it will break easy. The shell feels way cheap. The case comes apart because it is too flimsy and comes off if you pull out on the back at the bottom when it is only supposed to slide off. I was also scared that the bottom of the glass would scratch my iPhone because it doesn't go all the way down. I bought a Switcheasy Capsule Neo. Much higher quality product.

question omar I have this case as well. Do you have problems with the back face plate being loose? Mines literally slips off when I take the phone out of pocket?

Only one complaint with this review, as with the Shades case for iPhone 3G, you didn't use the phone with the case on. It would be nice to see how responsive the touch screen is on your reviews. Other than that very nice review!

One thing about these types of cases that I hate is that you get air bubbles between the screen protector and the phone. But being glass I hope it doesn't do this. Does this happen with this case?

you should try to a scratch test on the glass to see if is suitable to through in your pocket with your keys

very interesting case. How protective is this case compare to say otterbox?

Nothing is as protective as the Otterbox, but I would say this case is pretty close behind. You could drop your iphone in this case from pretty high up and I don't think much damage would be done to the phone...the case might be scratched and glass cracked possibly.
