if it had gone on for a third season, there would've been a lot of character growth. for example, the creator said that he planned for sam to come out as a lesbian.

you can look it up. ryan murphy announced that he had plans for it and that ending was supposed to be a cliff hanger for the season 3 that never happened.

i looked it up on wikipedia and yes there was was a reference but there is no reference info to back it up. With wikipedia you have have many people writing on the site with no on to check the facts. On tv (dot)com they say that Harrison chose Brooke, starts dating here and then dumps her, Brooke comes out from the hospital a brunette, and Mary Cherry goes to the pound. Unless you can find an interview I won't believe it. Well I would have believed it if they said Jaime Babbit said it

She didn't tell her, because she saw that Brooke's Mom was already suffering because she knows she missed a lot with brooke and that she messed up, also Sam didn't want to destroy the woman's marriage. Since her husband is obviously happy they don't have kids.
