i just remembered that berries can drop EV points but that brought up a question.
ok, say u maxed out ur def and ur moving onto another stat but u used up all ur EV points so u use ur berries so drop the maxed out stats to raise other stats, is that pokemon legit anymore?
Im not understanding, I had a lvl 5 treeko and trained it to lvl 19 defeating nothing but Geodude the entire time and didnt get any stat boost at all at one point I actualy got +0 Def x_x;;
Who would train a treeko in defense? The reason why it got 0 was because maybe of it's IV's, Nature, and its base stat. It's max defense is the lowest out of all his max stats so that explains it.
lol, Thats the reason I wanted to tran it in Deffense in the first place ^^;; I thought I would be able to fix that little weakness. but if I didnt take its nature into consideration ^^;;. But thanks for the help!! Ill try it in something else then :P
indeed this is a cool video cause i ev traind my dialga againts gravlers witch gives (2) evs to def so i killd (15 = 92 evs and got a plus 23 so yea i give this video 5/5 as well
dude... u cud EV train since the generation 1 games, EV training in gen 1 and 2 were hard, gen 3 was getting a bit easier and this gen made EV training really popular and easy.
By the way, a better place to train in defense is Iron Mountain or whatever tha place is called. Geodudes and Onixes for 1 defense EV and Gravelers for 2 defense EVs. Just ignore the golbats.
I do too, but its gets annoying. Then they hit you with mean look, forced to fight it, get crap experience, and then it gets a few speed EVs, which isn't all that bad.......
wtf do i do that for every level till 100 to get max defense?

just use ar to get max stats. But the only bad thing about that is those pokemon cant be in wifi battles because they are too strong.

What about Mt. Coronet and Victory Road? And do you only have to see defense ev pokemon in order to get good evs?
JMJ0788 2 years ago
Pretty good. I suggest also training in the Oreburgh Coal Mine. But the pokemon there are under level ten so it takes A LOT of time.

No it doesn't, zubats there are really annoying when you see them.
