The W.U. was all about overthrowing the U.S. and installing socialism/communism. As Ayers himself said, he was a communist with a small "c" (sure). They used black Americans and the Vietnam war to push their real agenda. Today Ayers has been scrambling to whitewash his past and that of his wife, Bernardine Dohrn, because they have books to sell, and they have run out of rationalizations for their past actions: bomb-making, setting off bombs, people killed, drug use, support of Charlie Manson.
