Filipinos are grateful to you for these magnificent videos showing the progress and development of the Philippines,
the international media namely CNN, BBC,and even local media doesnt show these instead they show the dilapidated, and dirty streets, they show the slums, poverty, violence, corruption, and lawless elements in our city once more they show the communist left which is anti-social, anti-progress,
anti-industrialization, anti-freedom, sowing anarchy and distrust in our society
ok. it provides jobs. but I prefer buying my shirt in an underground shop in a narrow street, where I get something individual and where I am not supporting this whole system. For me, I prefer supporting those who are having their jobs in such "slots".you know what I mean? and there are a lot of cool guys, producing their own shirts in a backjard store. for me, malls are just an illusion. a big lie. and by the way: I dont like aircondition.I prefer the pinoy hot weather! its a question of taste
malls aren't illusion. people just build their illusions to such establishments which make them fond of going back and then. malls don't lie and in fact, a reality to face. reality in a sense that the we see the filipino market growing. you shop because you want or you need to but not for the reason that you don't like an air conditioned atmosphere. and lastly, you shop not for a statement but you shop to be fair. you don't go against to anyone but you prefer to support everyone at some time.
yes they like making malls kasi the poor have no airconditioning.. they stay there from opening till closing..but how many people actually buy? aside from the food, few; if not for the restaurants which r everywhere in malls, the malls wud be bankrupt!!
i like ayala malls, than sm and robsn, becoz ayala pag gumawa ng mall bongga keysa sm na pare-parehong box-type left n right lang tapos na! tsaka sosyal sa ayala,sa sm jologs!
it doesn't matter where you go as long as you enjoy shopping. pumunta k nga ng trinoma or greenbelt 5, wala k nman plang binili, d b? ang pagpunta sa mga mall ay may purpose at hindi para lang pumorma o masabing sosyal ka. whether box type or landscape ang plano ng mga mall, you still go there without thinking of others might say.
Yes, its true. Ngunit itong mga businesses at sponsored companies sa malls ay adequate na sila ng mga job. The Philippines should encourage more investors local or international. At saka the government should stop borrowing or maybe printing money. They still keep borrowing money from abroad at sa IMF. Nakakalugmok kasi ito ng Pilipinas. Kaya low parin ang standard of living. Dahilan dito mag-aalisan ang mga investors. Its time to have a sound money at free-markets at keep out sa debt system!
I love the philippines, but I really dont understand why evrybody is fond of those ugly, cold, commercial, stupid places, called MALLS over there. its terrible..............
Because malls produces jobs not government. Individual high-minded business people makes the country wealth by producing jobs in exchange of goods and services. By doing this thru free-market even we're far from that, innovations growth whether thru healthcare, tecnology, education, & so on. Good thing investors still sees opportunities of making money in the Philippines. If not, only a crooks business men will remain. Now, let us encourage investors to invest in the Philippines & be confidence!
Ang malls ay isa sa mga contributing factor ng job labors. Why you complain, when in fact Malls create jobs, they also helps commercial real-estate because of the rentings. Malls is a private sectors not run by a government who also happen produces jobs and also audit how much is the taxations. Now, get this, Malls makes profits thru producing jobs, rentings, at buwis. If you do not find this nakakatulong, then what else pala? Malls could refuse to invest in the Pinas, if they do we loses money!
i just came back from the philippines 2 days ago and im really homesick, i have no realatives here, sometimes i cant sleep because i think about my relatives and friends over there
the malls in the philippines is like a curtain, when the curtain is rolled down, you'll see the beauty, but when rolled up, you'll find the disparity of poverty.
whats the connection between malls and poverty? malls are commercial establishments not government project.
do you expect every businessman to build homes to the poor ones? For every mall it provides work for hundreds if not thousands of Filipinos on top of that it also helps our economy, just in case you dont know.
FACT: every year new malls opens in metro manila, davao, cebu and in other cities of the philippines. there are newly built malls opens every year in the philippines (big and small malls). theres also a report that the philippines will be the shopping capital of asia in 2014. if youre a shopaholic the philippines is the best place
jeez. i really hate malls and places like that... this country has a lot more out there... somewhere out of the city and the hot urban alleys lies the true beauty - the true peace - of the philippines
Wow, did you retire to the Philippines? I know someone else who retired as a firefighter in Birmingham, England and moved to the Philippines with his wife. His pension will go much futher than than if he stayed in UK.

I read that women in philippines are shallow. if a man is not circumcised, he will not be taken seriously. I thought people in philippines are smart and advanced, but I guess they arent better than africans with their violent genital circumcision.
I feel sorry for all the men who wish to stay uncircumcised but the pressure of the stupid society forces them to do something against their will.
there's no benefits of circumcision, doctors spread lies and its even forbidden in the bible.
and i guess that makes you soo all high and mighty huh? dissing africans? when you dont even know what da fuck your talking about. and dont give me no bullshit, the shit you see on tv is not accurate. so if i was u i would shut da fuck up
oveisallaround11........Obviously, You don't understand the culture. I'm guessing that you are from uncultured American Society. Just to tell you a little of the culture, Filipino males volunteer themselves to circumcision at their young age around 10 to 12. Yes there are benefits from circumcision. One is to stay clean and free of odor ( I guess that benefits the females as well).
oveisallaround11....Another thing that you don't probably understand is the importance of culture and tradition of other society that they are willing to die for if incase of uncultured people like you try to intervene. If you want to test this, Why don't you go to India and asked the people to start eating beef or pork to Muslim people? What you probably need is to travel and get some education about different cultures.
