  • Makes me want to put on my white pyramid belt, an old pair of Chucks, and a ratty thrift store sweater. Then sway back and forth while crying and smoking a cigarette.

  • I love Taking Back Sunday, but they honestly don't sond like AC at all...wut

  • this hurts my ears....which is a good thing!

  • i know the whole sounding like capn jazz thing is getting tiring but i went to a different tab and literally forgot it was algernon and thought i was listening to cap especially with that horn at the end, compliment btw.. but yea algernon is algernon and capn jazz is capn and all that.

  • I missed these guys when they came to DC a month ago, I felt like an middle aged single woman watching oprah, crying while eating ice cream

  • @itakun94 I saw them the summer of my senior year up in Delaware at Cauffiel Barn. You really missed out on a treat, I'm sorry you couldn't go. They put on a great show and the crowd was great. Really felt a sense of community at that show and it was awesome.

  • @Envee211 man, that sounds sweet. i'll most definitely find any way possible to not miss the next time these dudes comes to DC

  • wow saw these guys in a house in philly with paint it black. told myself this was a good band forgot about them til now. great band

  • lmao sounds like taking back sunday? go to sleep forever kid.

  • this music just makes me want clean my room

  • Don't really know how I came here...But this is awesome!

  • @Pfafflewaffle actually, if you think about it, cap'n jazz + american football = joan of arc's first two albums

they had the pretty, harmonious guitar work reminiscent of AF, but tim's vocals are unmistakably cap'n jazz. plus the experimentation of cap'n jazz (like playing the fuckin french horn or whatever that is) is ever more present.

  • Good stuff.

  • this reminds me a bit of cap, like CobaltIsNotReal said, but also a little bit like Castevet (amazing band from chicago) and even a little American Football.

  • TRY AND PLANT A TREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

    ON TOOOOOP OF AAAAAAAAA COMPUTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER

  • @ifhgsfj SEE WHAT I MEAN?

  • Such an amazing band to see live. Saw them at philly invades baltimore 2. my face melted off at least 40 times.

  • @Alifeofarticsounds YEAH I TRIED TO FUCKING GO TO THAT!!! im so jealous of you man.

  • @Alifeofarticsounds Saw them there too! I have a recording of it, want it?

  • Ah, this reminds me of good ol' Cap'n Jazz.

  • this is music.

  • @Pfafflewaffle Nice dude, I just said the same freaking thing on mIRC haha

  • even though you still sound like Taking Back Sunday, the guitar work on this is really sweet....well done, reminds me of Johnny Marr.

  • @MoeZeppelin

  • @Envee211 was a great troll!

  • @MoeZeppelin hehehe

  • @MoeZeppelin .........this makes me sad on so many levels.

  • @MoeZeppelin WOAH WOAH WOAH,GO HOME

  • @MoeZeppelin there be a troll among these Cadwallader seas

  • vocals sound like audience of one (anthony greens first band) with like this town needs guns music

  • Saw you guys in Rosa and loved it

  • I wish algernon cadwallader played every time I had to jizz. Id cum so much harder

  • they sound like they have heavy influence from

    american football.

which makes sense, the generation that was influenced by them

has grown up and coming out of the wood work

  • @Ben54321blastoff

I would have to fully agree and take it a step further and say Cap'n Jazz. those brothers have done a lot for music. I find myself googling and looking on pandora for bands similar to that unique raw sound. bands like at the drive in or Braid come to mind. but still the pioneers would still be true to that of American football

  • @dontdropthatshit snowing, ape up!, slingshot dakota, street smart cyclist (r.i.p), hightide hotel, my heart to joy, owen (which is mike kinsella..so i guess you'd count that) and the promise ring..will probably all appeal to you. just to name a few..

  • @L07EK OH MY FUCKING GOD I LOVE SLINGSHOT DAKOTA, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR TELLING YOUTUBE ABOUT THESE BANDS

  • 2 people are mad that they don't have beards as awesome as that guy's.
