  • wher is they nest?

  • you must put more things in its cage

  • @sam481216 A Breeder does not put junk and kid toys in a cage for birds!

  • lol the male canary is so funny in this video!!! :P I'm trying to figure out if our new canary is female or male, we have two now, the first one we adopted was said to be a boy, the 2nd they didnt know the sex of them yet

  • And then you connect them.

But I must say to you, it's also genetic factor.

Male is really horny, he later tried to jump on his young son!

    I wish you luck!

  • Hi superplane, I bought male bird and I waited one month before mating.

Female must eat lots of egg food and seed food, and male must eat little less egg food, but more seed food, expecially niger, or thistle, probably you know what I want to say - thin little black seed.

First 15 days male and female just sing and don't see each other, last 15 days they see each other, but not at same cage.

  • Hi, I would like to know if you just putted these canary together at that day you bought his/her partner or you waited a week? Thankyou very much

  • hehehe I shouldnt be so judgemental. Al you are doing is crossing colors on the other hand im crossing different species. Check out my FinchXcanary mules.

  • I also cross species, last year e. goldfinch x canary.

This year I'm trying linnet x canary, but for now not sucessfully.

You can check out my other videos and my web page, about my best last year hybrid ;)

  • Why would you mate a red canary with a yellow one? They just arent compatible!

  • Hi Luis, they are, they have one little chick in the nest now ;)

Canaries of all colours can be mixed, if you like.

Female is orange, and male is white.

    How?

Red colour comes with "colour fed".

I'll not give to him syntetic caroten when he change feathers at the end of this summer, and he will be after change naturally - white.

    Female is naturally orange ;)
