  • As I watch the D.R. videos, one thing that really stands out is that there is no back ground noise. Where I live, day or night, there is constant noise...planes, trains, cars, industrial noise and sometimes just a dull humm that I cannot figure out.....I would enjoy the quietness ....

  • @SkateBiohazard everything has to be kept quiet for these baby people they just poke around and take life real slow cause they can't do anything they are like mentally ill people

  • @atfatw looks like they are doing very well, actually

  • @jeffthecoder just how are they 'doing very well' ?

  • @atfatw In practically every way. They live more in tune with nature, they're not "feeding the machine", so to speak, they're not conning people and ripping them off by "developing strategies to maximize profits and reduce churn", they're not in Walmart or the mall funding the economies of communist countries, they're using almost no petrol, they are eating only food they grew and prepared themselves (as opposed to hydrogenated oil, caffeine, msg which are intended to kill u), and they're happy.

  • @jeffthecoder whats all that crap 'living in tune with nature' mean. These people in their website say they only grow a small percent of their food they still purchase the bulk of their foods.

  • @atfatw There is a truth about the "modern society" that is very ugly. You are likely too young to know about the truth.

Once a person knows the truth of what happens behind the curtain to make life in the USA as it is, they would have to be "mentally ill" to continue living by that system.

Did you know that unlimited free energy was discovered over 50 years ago? No? Youtube search "american dream cartoon" to find out why there is still hunger on earth instead of everyone being free.

  • @jeffthecoder just what is this 'unlimited free energy' you speak of? incidentally, people have to have others making decisions for them as they are wretched and inferior.

  • @atfatw oh.. if they still shop at the grocery story and shyte then what is the point? I see where u r comin from now =P

  • @jeffthecoder the ideal commune (the only one thats worthwhile) grows all its own food dancing rabbit sure is a sorry ass thing!

  • @atfatw Friend, are you living off the grid, with one car for every 15 people, in owner-built houses largely constructed of local, natural materials-- like the good folks at Dancing Rabbit? They're growing more and more of their own food, and they're not stressing about getting some of it from the local organic farmers living near them.

  • @acceptgrace3 its very expensive and a real hassle to buy local you can buy organically grown timber from timber companys. how much more and more? these people move mentally and physically as an eldelry turtle does. instead of productve honest hardwork that gets much enjoyabe results. they like to waste time, a very valuable commodity and BS with endless meetings!

  • @atfatw Hmmm, the least expensive food my family buys is the local food direct from farmers in our area.

There are turtles in every segment of society. People are different, and all equally valuable and capable of being constructive. Learning to cooperate, to avoid destructive competition, and make decisions by concensus is "what the world needs now"... along with love.

  • @acceptgrace3 not all people are valuble criminals certainly aren't. are you certain that competition is inherently a bad thing. These people can't get their act together and serve as an inspiration and a learning resource to others promoting communes as an ideal alternative to grid living

  • Pretty neat.

And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any [of them] that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.

  • why is it that you communards don't have a group industry like the hammockmaking and vegean sausage like Twin Oaks does? will you be around another ten years?

  • how come you don't have sustainable money and job making indusrties in the10 years time. look at a successful commune East Wind for inspiration.

is Dancing Rabbit just a kind of summer camp for grown up kids?

  • @atfatw and while they're at it, why don't they get an army together and invade other communities? people like you on youtube are a plague.

  • kisscorporateassbasuras,

da da da da da da da da da da DUH dah duh da duh da da da da duh!

buenos dabilero! illegal criminale! move to tijunaa! thats were you kind belong!!!!

  • If the present and persistent, deadly upheavals are any indication, Black people as a culture still don't or won't GET it. Black people have had the potential to become spiritual and practical leaders of the world but [like the rest of humanity] have failed to embrace that potential. We have seen the enemy and the enemy is ourselves (paraphrasing)

  • You have some racist tendencies. They are covered over by a bit of truth, but that truth is not absolute.

Do you see people of all other cultures doing this? Do you do this. Seriously, why do you think you are better than people of a different skin color, just because all of the people in the groups that you know are from one culture

A number of other cultures that did live with the land were slaughtered and are still being killed of by white people. Don't blame others for your own cultures faut

  • Alright. I will qualify that I WAS, in fact, talking about Americans. However, Black people of other cultures have shown no particular aptitude for ecology-friendly existance; nor have Black people maintained or cultivated an atmosphere of cooperation with one another.

  • It doesn't suprise me NOT to see people of color at DRE. Partly I think because Black people do not get the concept nor have they cultivated the skills needed for such a lifestyle. I know this is so because I am a Black older woman/farmwife and have never, in 43 years met other Black folks interested in an IC. Few people actually understand the concept of an eco-friendly IC. Many came through our farm, none of them wanted to do the work. We gave up seeking people of like mind for an IC.

  • maybe black americans but not all blacks! we dont have youtube clips but have lived the life. Modern society is just begining to awaken to the reality facing all of us. it so happens that whites are at the forefront in western societies in pursuing the 'eco' lifestyle. the reality is western/modern societies are just rediscovering what has always been

  • awesome

  • Thanks for posting.

  • Community aint easy! Congratulations! I am curious to know how much of your own food you grow now. Is the community creating a surplus of energy, ie, money, electricity, food?

  • Wow it has been 10 years. This is amazing. I'm very interested. Keep up the great work.
