hockeys about 3 things, speed, power and skill. All three can be used in one. Hockey is a contact sport, dont cry about "violence". Football is violence, men trying to kill each other and hit as hard as they can till they get speech inpedaments. A body check is meant to take an opposing player out of the play and screw up another teams play. Do you even play hockey?

I like hockey and have seen good players been caried out, because a brainless "body check" to the head or his back. Some of the body check u show are pure "charging`s"

theres a well known risk of injuries in hockey, every player knows it, players are gonna do stupid things, and actually not very many are dirty hirts, there mostly all clean checks. mostly what your seeing is the hands come up after the check, that isnt a hit to the head.
