She says she likes to spend an hour each night one on one with Aiden. How is that going to be possible now, with eight babies in the household? She speaks of starting a support group for families with autistic children, yet in later videos it's clear Aiden has gi=one down hill, while his mother says she is "smothered".

No disrespect to her..but she needed a couselor or psychologist to help her with her own emotional health before having all of these children. She just appears to me to be a person who never addressed her own emotional needs and doesn't realize that she is lacking. No one is perfect. @Thunkful2 Some children with autism start talking at a typical age (10-14 months), and then lose that ability to speak, and some people with autism never learn to speak. Autism isn't just based on speech ability, there are a lot of other aspects to it, different behaviors and even physical aspects. You can sometimes see children showing signs of autism when they are just a few months old. It all depends on the child/person.
My brother was autistic & didn't talk until 3. And the DSM-IV uses that as a chief criterion for distinguishing austism for Asperger's. So if one had a 2 year old not speaking, I don't think he wud be called autistic until he got to 3. I didn't realize that some with autism lost the ability to speak after early speaking.

Can anyone predict the future and know the sex yet alone if their next child will be disable or not? The Postigo parents, (on my channel.) My son was full-term, weighing in at 9 lbs, 14 ounces and was breast fed for almost 2 years. And he STILL has autism. These poor babies.
He reminds me of my son, except my son is a little more verbal and doesn't stim as much. My son gets 6 hours of therapy a week. I think he would have had a much better chance without 8 brand new siblings to compete with. It's sad. We aren't going to try to have another child until my son is in preschool. He needs more quality time first before we have another baby. That's what resonsible parents do!
God forbid, but accident happens... So if you should happen to become pregnant with twins. You would kill those babies to give more attention to your autistic child? Say what you want about Ms. Suleman, but she had those kids in Jan. 2009 it's now pass Jan. 2011 and she still have all 14 of her children, she has not abandon, exploit, mistreated, abuses or neglected any of them. Can anyone predict the future and know the sex yet alone if their next child will be disable or not? The Postigo parents, (on my channel.) They lost a lot of babies and friends told them they should stop having them because they kept dying. Look how many HEATHLY kids they have now. Even the Duggar lost a second child and had 18 more after it.

That she would never turn her back on him and he will always be with her to love and to continue nourishing Aaden. Nadya's right, with the right help kids can be guided out of autism. My friend, she's 21 yrs old. 3 kids now and have her kids names tattoo on her arms at a tattoo party and NO she did not have her kids with her. I disagree on the mothers part. There are people out there like me who can live independently despite being an Asperger/Aspy. A lot of Aspy's like that little boy there can have "savant skills" in something he can be passionate about and what ever he excels at will help him in the real world. My son was full-term, weighing in at 9 lbs, 14 ounces and was breast fed for almost 2 years. And he STILL has autism. These poor babies.

He reminds me of my son, except my son is a little more verbal and doesn't stim as much. My son gets 6 hours of therapy a week. I think he would have had a much better chance without 8 brand new siblings to compete with. It's sad. We aren't going to try to have another child until my son is in preschool. He needs more quality time first before we have another baby. That's what resonsible parents do!

God forbid, but accident happens... So if you should happen to become pregnant with twins. You would kill those babies to give more attention to your autistic child? And what if supposedly a parent had two kids and the third child was born autistic, the solution would be to give up the two to care for autistic one?
