Never knew they made a movie, i used to LOVE this cartoon. Now I have car notes, mortgage, a kid, and bills up the ass. I want to sit on my ass and eat cap'n crunch and watch weekend specials on WXYZ tv while mom cleans and talks on the phone again!!! Nostalgia is a bitch!!!
Does this movie contain a scene where two girls visit a neighbor and pour milk and cake into a potted plant? That scene is from an 80's kids movie, and I cannot remember which one!
At the beginning of this movie, the mom makes breakfast shakes out of (I think) spinach and other vegetables. One of the kids pours his shake (which is green) into a potted plant.
I would like to see this on DVD too. Not only this, but the cartoon series as well. Even if it had just one season; 13 episodes. As far as I know, both Hi-Tops Video and Nelvana Entertainment have the copyrights to My Pet Monster.
I remember back in either 2002 or 2003 they tried bringing My Pet Monster back onto the toy market and didn't sell well. At that time, they also brought both T.M.N.T. and He-Man back onto the toy market. T.M.N.T. worked a little bit better than He-Man though.
WOW, I used to love my pet monster more than life itself but I had NO IDEA they ever made a film of it!!! Don't wanna offend any fans but it does look pretty terrible - the toy was more realistic than this thing!

There is a scene where the kids in the family pour milk into a plant, so that might be what you are talking about.
