  • Here's a very important detail from Mark 16:3-

"and [the women] asked each other, "Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?"

This doesn't necessarily mean that they were referring to themselves here, but if they planned to anoint Jesus's body, they would almost certainly have realized that they would need to roll the stone away. Whereas others have implied that the stone was too heavy for even 11 disciples to roll away, this suggests that it was light enough for 1 or 2 women.

  • Correction: The KJV says "who will roll US away the stone."

Si the women weren't expecting to do it on their own. Still, if the stone were so heavy it required a dozen men to roll away, one would think the women would have planned ahead.

I can't find anything about the linen being neatly folded.

  • matthew mentions the linen detail but it's inconsequential in the grand scheme of things

the interesting thing about the stone is that Joseph of Arimathea BURIED jesus in his own tomb - he was the one who (possibly w/ others) rolled the stone in place - the stone doesnt seem to be an incredible obstacle as it may seem

in the video i gave motive and opportunity, suspects and an explanation regarding the visions of Jesus -aaron's making a reply and i'm anxious to see him rationalize this

  • i respond to this in the video: they saw his "glorified body" - there is no mention anywhere that anyone touched his body to confirm it's physicall nature - this body allows Jesus to teleport at will from one place to another

it's also interesting that cleopas, mary magdalene and thomas dont recognize him until they magically 'recognize him' - this tells me that his appearance is changed

it's also interesting that a lot of them are in a group setting when Jesus apprears - sounds like a vision

  • Not to mention how in the earliest, and most reliable gospel we have (Mark)- once you take out the interpolation - Jesus does not appear to anyone but the gospel ends w/ the empty tomb

  • Yes. It says that Thomas touched Jesus' wounds to be sure it was him.

  • 27Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. 28And Thomas answered and said unto him, My LORD and my God. 29Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

  • sorry bro - but it seems like you read this and IMPLY that Thomas makes his statement after touching Jesus physically -the text DOES NOT say this; all it tells us is that Thomas accepts Jesus and repents for his doubt - it does DOES NOT tell us that the basis for this repentance is due to him confirming Jesus physical resurrection by touching his wounds; just as you're willing to IMPLY that he DID touch his wounds I can IMPLY that He DIDNT touch his wounds but was satisfied by the vision he saw

  • This fails to explain the apperences of Christ.
