Quite agree with ksngirl. His French diction leaves much to be desired. However, it will likely be another 100 years before we find someone with the technical prowess of Luciano. Bravo maestro!
At the time of this rendition Maestro Pava was either 59 or 60 years old. And yet, he still has a brilliant B, which most tenors in their prime would love to have. What a remarkable rendition of Pourquoi Me Reveiller. He makes it look so easy LoL
Look at him! Isn't it a mircle? I've listened to many tenors, but he's not like others. His voice is evergreen. His voice never grows old. He has the strangest opera voice in the world. Other tenors' voices seem to be alike while Luciano is the greatest among them.
Well...I just saw this Mutlu ol yeter performance and he sucks big time, don't ever compare the greatest tenor of our time with somebody that is not even a classical performer....whatever... this Mutlu ol yeter doesn't fit in Mr Pavarotti's toe nails...you must learn about music.
I was never a fan of Opera until I hears Pav sing this song...just brilliant...

He is the best tenor ever, in my opinion, but unfortunately, his diction in French is not as amazing as his in Italian.
