@pat30473 honestly as much as I love the Peppers without John it's hard.I like his whole attitude,sound,voices, covers and what he all did...Even the strange solo stuff is very good(not all but there are from each album 2-3 songs which are going so deep...I haven't heard the new album and without John(as much the band may work with Josh) I won't pay 100,- Euro.Sorry they aren't the Stones..If John was in I would go or go on a solo gig. You're right what you say I hope he comes back ,too,peace !

i was at slane castle ( i live in ireland ) i dont think that gig will ever be topped...the whole day was amazing....QOTSA....then foo fighters..then the mighty peppers rocked the fuck out....il never ever 4get that day....

Slane Castle is also my favorite ig I've ever seen from this great band.I got a lot of live Dvd's (live in Poland is also great).Anyway Slane is just amazing and when it gets dark this nice scenery with that castle in the back.How many where there? 20.000 people? Lucky you were there ! I missed them in 2006 in Stuttgart cause of my girlfriend at the time(..it's to expensive,etc..).Man I should have been gone alone -so now I'll never see the best line up of the band (incl.Jihn)..Peace to Ireland

and as good as josh is.....john can never be re-placed.....saying that the new album IM WITH YOU is far better than i thought it would be....there are some great songs on it.......but the jams while john was in the band will never be topped....who knows...maybe 1 day john will return and the peppers will be a 5 piece band...i pray 4that day.....
