I love vf. but evo was the best. a lot of the bounce-combo's are starting to get a little weird. And Yu Suzuki is gone. He was the one that started the series.

This game has too much packed into it: While that's the VF5 R version of his theme, if a player so desires, they can change it back to the theme music all the way back to Virtua Fighter ONE!

They stuffed this with soo many features, I fret that Sega might get stupid and full-price this version IF it ever hits consoles.

Nope. These and all VF5 R videos are captured directly from the arcade. People with consoles are still stuck with regular VF5 for the time being...

It isn´t even determined if vf5r will even be made for the consoles. Sega has announced that it will only made for console release if they get enough emails from fans.

I personally think that if they werent even considering a console release for vf5r, then vf5 is the last one in the series. I dont think there will be a vf6.

Virtua Fighter 5 R? I hate it when they rerelease a game after making a few minor changes. I'm not going to buy virtua fighter 5 again! Why not just focus on making a true sequel? That being said, the VF series is awesome. VF 5 is the best fighting game I've ever played. Goh is my favorite.

Yeah, it's becoming a trend with fighting games nowadays. It takes some work to refine the foundations, and that usually comes down to balancing, fixing glitches, and just adding new things. They are hardly "perfect" the first time around.

This is more of a deal for arcade owners than console owners though, since keeping up with a popular series that updates itself can generate more revenue and keep players interested. VF5R hasn't hit consoles, but if it did, it's not necessary to buy it.
