Thought about this, are they using the £130 to pay off part of the £150 and the balance being covered by the excess
if this is the case, why are there still two mortgages running?

seems like this does not really stack up
150k at 3.5% costs £5250 a year
130k at 6% cost £7800 per year
That give an excess of £2550 per year
Which is a total of £40800 over 16 years
Cant see how this can pay off the loan of £150k
Even if you took the £2550 for 25 years this only gives £63750
Anyone else can see how this works let me know
