Here's a thought. Stop for red lights and you won't have to worry about whether there's a camera there or not. (Same with speeding)

And, driving while taping is just as stupid as TEXTING while driving.

@ejay1118 I am not even looking through the view finder of this flip video camera. So yes I am concentrating on driving.

I do stop at red lights no matter the time but its nice to know as many manufactures lower the yellow light time when a camera was in place.

Its been found that going the exact speed limit really is not the safest speed to be traveling. But what do I know I just looked at the data and statistics

I'd need info on the yellow light time. Sounds like an alt.conspiracy topic to me.

I don't think there's ANY "safest speed" to drive at. But you can't convince me that "70" is safer than "55" as you would have less reaction time.

I still think it's fascinating that people will go through this time and expense to find some way to scoff traffic laws.

@ejay1118 Really I and you are probably listening to the radio when you drive so your argument is bunk I know the basic idea to keep my subject in frame with out looking at the camera.

Oregon did an example where they increased the speed limit on one road to around 80mph funny enough accidents went down. Speeding doesn't cause the accidents its distracted drivers causing the accidents

Good info, I just wanted to see if this thing also worked as spedometer, since my car is off by 15kph. So it looks like one of these will give me more acculturate speed, and save some $.

notice he always drives with a v1 and he tests other detectors. my company has 19 V1s in all of our company trucks and they are the bomb my wife and i actually bought two of them for our cars.... they save CA$H out the wazuu in speedin tickits. especially lvin in wv where there are alot of speed traps

I've got a Decatur Genesis K-Band Instant-on gun (same used by Woonsocket cops). We should collaborate some day and see how your RD performs. My bet is that you'd be fine as long as it's triggered at a driver ahead of you.

Well of course My detector will perform amazing if you target the car in front of me. Thats why i always let an idiot speed ahead of me....My detector eats K-band alive...I have another video of the C100 performing at another intersection I might post up in the near future

No the V1 is insanely good at detecting K-band radar...Much better than any Beltronics or Escort I have owned
