They might not technically count as 'undiscovered' but they can't be called mainstream either; outside of pitchfork I've never seen/heard them anywhere else.

I think they definitely deserve more recognition since they make such great music, but at the same time I'm glad they're so low key. Their music is so beautiful its almost intimate {imo of course}. So the thought of the masses listening to them only to treat them as entertainment is unbearable to me.

@dgmulf I wasn't trying to be hostile, and you're right great music should be recognized and enjoyed by everyone; which is why I really hope that in the long run Beach House gets recognized for all the great work they've done. BUT the thing I've never liked about 'mainstream' anything (music, movies, etc.) is that its never really loved or enjoyed. Its always used and then forgotten when the next big thing comes along. And I don't want that for Beach House because they deserve better than that.
