  • Where can I get one???!

  • @h1joDdios ebay for pretty cheap

  • wow graphics are amazing almost as good as the ipod version of street fighter

    zomg

  • the music is so Game Gear * styled

  • im better than you xp

  • 10/10 by IGN. Such on that! Please make games again, mister takashi nishiyama

  • That game is awesome! Really fast, a lot of moves ! This is it!

  • this game was amazing, till I played King of Fighters '96 on the Gameboy. Sure it wasn't as colorful, but it was much faster paced and wasn't dumbed down much especially the speed. I recommend anyone who likes 2 button fighting hand held games to check that one out.

  • it has special intros, nice history, great visuals and gameplay, lots of mini games, what else can you ask for, this is better than SF4 IMO...

  • This game is very impressive considering the hardware it is running on. Very solid fighting game and something I would recommend to gamers.

  • Why'd you stop the Guile fight? It was so epic!

  • Kinda ok? Its fucking awesome.

  • Best game for Neo Geo??

Now it is my best game for PSP :-]

  • Chibi Morrigan...Yum.

  • when I first exchanged my gameboy color for the neo geo poket with a friend with this game I was like OH MY GOD THIS IS SO AWESOME, Neo geo poket fuck the world, but then I didnt found any RPGS so I was then missing my game boy color lol

  • @alanvamp

Ever heard of Biomotor Unitron? It's a great game, you should look into it.

  • this game is more like SF ... kof on neo geo pocket is faster and better... but this is a really good game too

  • The rhythm game was a very cool feature; not that the main game was a bad or anything.

  • I know that this is a good game, but how manyu of you wish snk had made this for the neo geo arcade, and well balanced too

  • "I'm SO pumped!"

  • i like the visuals

  • I would have given this vid major props, but he picked ryu... Not sayin ryu is bad...but i see too much of him xD So you only get some props.

  • sounds like an nes version of megaman.

  • lolthe end with the cat thats like ddr

  • aw yes i used to play this aalalalala llll dayy!!! i loved this so much but i lost my poor neo geo some where not too long ago.

  • Mai Looks like aeris

  • Neo Geo Pocket everyone thinks was ahead of it's time, but it pretty much on par with Game Boy Color really.

Game Gear looked way better and was a lot earlier.

  • Unless I'm REALLY wearing thick nostalgia glasses, I think a lot of Neo Geo Pocket games looked better than this. It's a 16 bit system for crissakes.

Was this a NGPC game, or just a NGP game? The colors are pathetic.

I'd forgotten how much weaker it was than the GBA. Shame. SNK was a great company, and their support of the Neo-Geo AVS/MVS was astonishing. More than ten years worth of support.

I'm still interested to try this though. Shame it didn't have enough buttons for a SF game.

  • that annoyed the pants off'a me... the lack of button make you wanna repeat the same combos over and over...

However, i sorely miss that game :'(

  • SNK is the king of hardware, I wish this would have sold well (along with the Sega dreamcast) so both of them would of had new systems that could interact with each other.

  • @badmilk6 U Make it seem like they could had an SEGA vs Snk Game XD

  • looks and sounds just like Game Gear, only Game Gear came out almost 10 years earlier.

  • @neogeon

Game gear was also like 100 bucks, and lasts 2 hours.

NGPC cost me like 20 bucks and lasts 8 hours, plus it has a joystick built into it. It has built-in date system that affects gameplay and you can link it to dreamcast.

  • @ManhwaFan I repeat: Game Gear came out almost 10 years earlier and the NGPC debuted at $70. Also, the Game Gear lasted at LEAST 3 hours and unless you were running laps with it you just needed the rechargeable batter pack and battery cost was nil. The rest...who cares. It's not like it had the power for a truly serious fighter anyway, so what do you need a joystick for? Bust a Move for game gear and NGPC are virtually identical. Weak.

  • @neogeon

who cares how much they costed when they came out.

right now, I can get a NGPC for 30. Game gear I need to spend 100.

  • @ManhwaFan are you high? Game Gears are $20 TOPS. The only problem is that Game Gears are so old they are starting to have issues with the sound and screen, but who cares, SMS/GG emulation is top notch and all over the place. My old phone (N-Gage QD, not the taco talk one, google it) could emulate Game Gear full speed with sound and it was in my pocket the whole time. Regardless, Game Gear did it better 10 years earlier. Cry about it.

  • omg karin is in here i want it now .. but one question is she playble o_O

  • i think so, i forgot..i have it tho. -) i think i remember her being quite a good character .

  • You know... of all the CvS/SvC games released - this one has to be both the most balanced AND the most fun!

Olympic Mode and the Mayhem Moves, along with the hidden/unlockable characters gave it more replay value than all of the other iterations combined. And the story was pure cheese, sure... but it still beat out the other titles'.

I actually have both an NGPC and this game, btw! :D

  • I'm glad you can actually play mini games with both girls. By the way, in case anyone didn't know, doing the mini games gives you lots of points so you can go to this thing where you can learn the special attack of certain characters. It takes more and more points to learn the next special move. Also by getting lots of points, you get fancy little medals that tell you how good you did on the mini games.

  • i do agree, i thought i remembered the neo geo pocket color to have better graphics, but it was still an epic handheld system with the analog control scheme. I wish they still made them.

  • pro style. neogeo pocket color was way ahead of its time, that built in horoscope was bad ass

  • 2:36 thats nasty da background

  • This game was awesome. The only thing that's pure shit here is you.

  • the guys in the background of guiles stage are naked.

    2:36

  • better than hot chiks dirty panties

  • this looks fuckin awesome, I am goin to buy this game for my neo geo pocket.

  • i love the joy stick for the neogeo pocket.

  • This is really sweet for how old it is.

This is before GBA came out in Us

  • Lol ugly, that was the best fighting game into a portable console of 1999!

  • I don't say this about too many games, but this game was (and still is) one of the best handheld fighters, period. You can see that they put their all into the game, even despite the hardware limitations. Great music, superb visuals and character animations (Geese and Mai in particular), tons of fighters for a handheld fighter, tons of unlockables, fun mini-games, this game had it all.

No handheld fighter even on the current market has impressed me as much as this game.

  • Comment removed

  • il sont mignon en petite puce en plus il sont bien a jouer

  • Wtf, Kinda ok???? This is the best handheld game ever made....

  • Seriously, top of the SvC/CvS bunch! You should try Tag or Team Mode, Rush Style, and the Olympic challenges! :D

  • No, Metal Slug is.

  • HAHAH he sniffs his dads panties what an asshole lol

  • mine broke:( ..... i miss the neo geo pocket so bad!

  • i sniff hot chiks dirty panties

  • u mean ur dad panties

  • ur ugly mom panties

  • I LOVED this game, it was all I ever used to play, and the Olympics bit was just classic.

  • AWESOME!! i want it great for only 18bits

  • 16bits

  • OK MR. PERFECT 16 bits the world its gonna break down only because i added 2 bits great science

  • Please don't kill me !

  • horrible

  • FPS is so slow man. I got this on NeoGeo pocket.

  • i have this on my psp its pretty fun

  • These games were meant to played with the NGPC's click-stick, dpad or analog nub is terrible. Thats why there were so many fighting games on this system.

  • Haha.. I miss this game. Brings back a lot of memories; I got it for free. I liked a lot of the songs on it.

  • i have this game but my neo geo pocket is broken

  • cute

  • lulz this game is cute xDD

  • Kinda ok? Thank god somebody doesn't kiss this games ass.

  • kinda ok? KINDA OK!? This is the best handheld fighter ever!

  • @shiningwizard327

seriously, this game was fucking addictive and fun as hell. Kinda ok? are you effing me?

  • @shiningwizard327 no it isnt i have had this one also and its very good i agree but no better than some of the psp fighters like tekken or street fighter alpha 3 or darkstalkers etc

  • @shiningwizard327 hmm i dunno man...super street fighter 2 on the sega nomad is A LOT better

  • i just bought ngpc toooooo

  • this is one impressive game. own it. payed 85 bucks for it and would pay more. a work of art like this deserves it. I miss the old-school SNK

  • If for some reason, it sounds like another Game Gear game...

  • pokemon for gameboy

  • Probably because Sega supplied the sound chip.
