This stadium needs a roof to cover the seated areas, not the pitch though, football (all codes) is an outdoor sport, and so you need to have an open roof above the grass (which also should be compulsory, not artificial turf).

repeat after me: NEW JERSY Giants NEW JERSEY Jets. These teams would have more relevance if they were called the Connecticut Giants and the Philadelphia Jets. The only football team that can call itself New York are the BIlls, and they refer to themselves as Buffalo. So, go buy another baseball title, Yankee fans. And your Knicks should just transfer to the Developmental League

until you find the next Allan Houston or Stephan Marbury to pay 20 a million a year too. Schmucks.

The tour guide and the management even said the fans did not want a dome. That was a BS comment. Everyone wants one and they could not get the funding fro the state. They just do not want o add that to the bill

@DaveJetsFan Structurally the stadium has the capability to add a dome later. Everything is already 'in-place' to add a dome later, even if its 5 or 10 years from now.

@rickcaprioli as someone that lives in europe and has been to Wembley, the emirates, the bernabau, camp nou, san siro , allianz arena etc... I can honestly say that NO European stadium is as nice as the new meadowlands stadium and no European stadium is as good as the Dallas cowboys stadium. With the exception of stadia like Wembley, most European stadia EW comparable to the FED EX arena (redskins).. which is routinely sighted as the the worst experience in the nfl.
