@eggtruck what year is your car, mine is a 2002, have bought a facia unit and wiring to replace it, would like to keep the original, might check for that, thanks for your help :)
@Superindigoman My one "died", but before replacing it I figured I had nothing to lose by taking it apart. I found that one of the discs had fallen off it's tray and was blocking the mechanism. Taking it out solved the problem. It only took about half an hour to remove the headunit and take the case off. It's now good as new!
It's worth checking if yours has the same issue, as they are great headunits and it's a shame to have to replace them with inferior aftermarket ones.
@powerx2k Yes, 100% orginal. It sounds awsome. And when we was buying the car we could "order" 2 extra speakers, but we didnt. I think that i can fix a better cam and record it with hq.
2 exstra speakers ????? i have 6 can u have 8 ?

@jayholley123 2 Up in the doors 2 down in doors, 2 back where the back window are. You could also order it with two in the back doors.

Lucky you, the original CD player still works, gone in mine, not many left with an original working i think.
