  • @paollaschneider learn to read and stop talking bullshits bro

  • sorry but what is Irish about this video??? I don't get it.

  • NO WAY it is Irish... and come on ppl... I'm not quite good with accents..... but for me.. Brazilian accent is kinda hard to discover.... I mean... the almost speaks like Americans... hahahhaa...

  • @cathal2011 cant u read? it's a video responde to the video called irish accent, he was just showing his brazilian accent

  • Ha!! Adorei! Reminds me of home. ;)

  • viva che!!!!

  • tis is not an irish accent at all,,neither it is an paulista brazilian accent, but more like an american accent, for brazilians from the south or southeast pronouces the R very acute,on a double R way,but those from the north and northeast ,use the R quite mute, like the is the case of some european english,

  • I'm so glad I've found an english accent that is even more ridiculous than the horrible portuguese one! Thank you Brazil =)

  • So, that's awesome man, i'm also brazilian and your accent is pretty nice, i'd like to check out your band, piece

  • hey ... stupid comments bellow.

A Brazilian doesn't need to talk like an American ... A Brazilian should talk like a Brazilian. As well French, Germans ... they will never changes their way of speaking.

  • @Tyler83Mr A Brazilian should speak English with an English accent when speaking to somebody from Britain, or an American accent when speaking to an American. When I speak Portuguese, I speak with a Brazilian accent when I'm in Brazil, or a Portuguese accent when I'm in Portugal.

  • lol thats how my dad speaks! he's from rio grande de sul.

btw brazilians tend to pronounce vowels weird like with the word contest it souns kinda nasally at the " con " . and when there's an L at the end of the word like " well " it turns into WeU

  • @mathias1417

Cool, I´m from RS too and it´s really!

  • @mathias1417 Brazilian Portuguese is very nasal and I have always noticed this, even before learning other languages and when I was younger, when I tried to speak English (at school), it was nasal. Most teachers don't even bother to tell us how to pronounce the words correctly, not even they pronounce it correctly. I learn most things from YT videos and TV! And the letter L at the end of a word in Portuguese sounds like "u". Usually pple also have a problem with "th".

I'm from Rio Grande do Sul

  • viva che!!!!!

  • We dont speak like that -.-

  • Brazilians tend to put an "E" sound on the end of everything! Train becomes "trainy", "pub" becomes "pubby", "break" becomes "breaky" and so on...

  • @Barry3443

Not really, buddy. When we speak english words with other brazilians, we do this... But when we speak seriously english, we speak the correct form. (if the person can speak english, of course.)

  • @Barry3443 yes and I hate that

  • "shut up man" hahahaha

  • @NeedForSpeedCarbon3 eu falo bem [/esnobe] eauhaeuae

Vlw

  • @Barry3443 OK, gringo !

  • @NeedForSpeedCarbon3 sou mineira e tenho sotaque Irish.

  • WTF, you sound like Christopher Walken!

  • ahauhu vc e demais!! perfect accent!! hauhaua

  • We ended up in DIRT!

Wow - luved the vid, ur accent is cute. :p

I want to speak that accent"!!

  • ..you ended up in turd?

  • hahahahah

  • TURD it is :D

  • LOL to christopher walken comment hahaha

  • "We ended up in turd" foi foda. xD

  • Ye it was man.. esse cara ta eh dando xD

  • Wow, Brazilians talk like Christopher Walken!

  • you are really sexy :)

  • isn't internet the correct

  • read again the description. it seems that you really haven't read the title.

  • Bangladeshi-dutch for sure.

  • You know what's interesting, the Brazilian accent when speaking English sounds almost the same as the Quebec French accent when people speak English - it's like the "th" is pronounced as "d". Very cute though! :)

  • In fact, the "th" is usually pronounced by Brazilians as an unaspirate "t" (unaspirate = without a puff of air), not as a "d" (a real "d" should be "voiced"). But it's a well-know phonetic phenomenon that anglophones understand initial unaspirate "t" as "d", and that they unconsciously aspirate all the initial t's. That's why it's also usually easy to identify an anglophone speaking Spanish or Portuguese.

  • Correcting it:

Most brazilians pronounce unvoiced "th" (that of "third") as an unaspirated "t",

but voiced "th" (that of "that") as an unaspirated "d".

  • He is Brazilian! Most Brazilians speak English with a similar accent, almost impossible not to recognize a Brazilian while they are speaking English. I am Irish Brazilian and went to school in Brazil, and for some reason Brazilians are taught American English at school, plus the teachers are pretty shit at speaking English.

If you ever meet up with a Brazilian ask him to say Hong Kong or King Kong, its pretty funny the way its pronounced. Hottttiee Dogiiiee!

  • kingi kongi lol

  • I SAY RON KONGUE E KINGUE KONGUE hahhhaha

    fuck you UHASUHASUHSAUS

  • I love this accent. :D My boyfriend is from Brasil, and it can be super-duper-sexy. Though maybe I'm a bit biased.

  • hello mate, I'm 17 years old, and I'm brazilian. People in here speak english just like you said (even when they know a lot about english)! They don't pronounce the TH sound properly! It sounds like a D for them...you also pointed out that they say things like "ware, instead of were" and "intternett, instead of in'er'net"

  • who in the f^^king hell says internet should be prounounced innernet? Does anyone has to sound like bloody americans, with their shit accent?

  • Louieinoz, if you wanna pronounce internet like a brazilian do, go ahead, do it, and everybody will make fun of you.

  • Oh yeah? Well first of all i'm aussie. Born in Brazil but live here many years. Only americans say innernet. There's a whole world of speakers outside of US that speak the true english. Come to Australia, say Innernet and people will make fun of you.

  • i still think it sounds fake... or maybe with a lot of interference

  • but ima teen but i talk liek you

  • i sound like you

  • whoaaa...u, my friend, hardly even have 1! most of the time Brazilians sound like they have accents bcuz they stress the wrong parts of words or sumthin. u hardly even count for a 'brazilian' accent, lol, but u can tell that u slightly have some kind of accent.

  • killer !!!!!!!!

  • I'm a Brazilian who sounds American, but I've always enjoyed hearing Brazilian people who have accents because I think it makes them sound totally friendly and charismatic. =]

  • eu tbm su brasileiro

  • I am Brazilian...but I learned english in Germany and when I try to speak it, everybody asks me if I am german...it is quite funny...

  • ahahah dude thats very close to brazilian accent!(i happen to be one btw) i like the way u said thir like "turd"

  • "third"

  • there's no irish on it. it's a american/brazilian accent. anyway... brazilians as foreigners vary their accents and pronunciation a lot... depending on how long they have been learning english. However the tone of voice of brazilians is unique, regardless

  • what makes it unique ? im brazilian, i mean, is it easy to identify ? more important haha, do girls like it ? be honest :D

  • What about the second one?

  • Dude, your accent is AWESOME!!!!

  • If this is awesome, I'll quit my english classes.

  • Dang! you're fine!!

  • the way you say São Paulo is totally brazilian. dont fake it. lol

  • For sure you can't fake you're brazilian.

  • I dont get the title ?

  • you got it wrong. read up there again: Re: Irish Accent / Brazilian Accent.

    Cheers!

  • You look like Che Guevara :p

  • che is a hero! dont do it to him!:)

  • You sound like a Brazilian who's lived in the US for a long time. A typical Brazilian accent is much stronger than that. We pronounce 'cold' like 'code', we nasalize a lot of vowels, like un- in 'uncle' and we always get sibilant sounds at the end of diphtongs wrong: we say noze for nose, hauz for house and so on.

  • For sure you are brazilian, because of the way you said São Paulo. XD

I'm brazilian too and the way a brazilian would say it is unmistakable.

  • You're right. I guess "São Paulo" and "Rio de Janeiro" are the names that really makes clear when a person is a Brazilian Portuguese-native speaker.

  • we Brazilians often say

    "man" or "shut up"

I know it, because I'm Brazilian...

  • Funnily enough i am brazilian and don't use to speak man or shut up. But he really sounds as a brazilian. lol.

  • Funnily enough i am brazilian and don't use to speak man or shut up. But he really sounds as a brazilian. lol.

  • No...you do have the accent!

    =D

  • Well, you dont have a tipical Brazilian accent. Your accent is very different from Brazilians who speak english.(I think so).

  • Uhauhaua, do caralho, adorei esse.

  • You sound like a Brazilian who learned the English language from various Irish people, as your accent sounds Brazilian but some words you say are pronounced as though they are Irish. Nevertheless, you did a good job.

  • "Shud Up"?? we dont say like that!

  • you seem to have lost your accent :)

  • You sound like a Brazilian who learned English from Irish people... interesting!

  • LMAO "TURRRRRRRRRRD"

  • It's like that? ... I don't believe it.
