And yeah...compared to other "Homemade Hardcore" battles, he's VERY EASY to defeat. He has about 80,000HP, and though he has an extremely-high defense, it can be surpassed by many attacks. And other than his "modded" attacks, he's like Safer Sephiroth in every way...just as slow and predictable.
Also, if you pay attention, you'll notice his own deadly attack is a key for defeating him quickly ;P
Because she has a mastered Sneak Attack materia. The Sneak Attack materia gives you a chance (85% Mastered) to begin the battle by using an attack; that attack depends on the materia paired to Sneak Attack, which in my case, is Ice.
So, Mastered Sneak Materia + Mastered Ice Materia = 85% chance of starting with Ice3.
I see that Sephiroth's Wall has been altered, but not other attacks. You know, it should be possible using a few codes to alter his attack patterns, too, by altering the Turn ID on certain conditions.
So, for instance, Sephiroth might use Break/Heartless Angel whenever Cloud's HP is 9999.
And yes, it should be possible, but the code would be WAY different than this, and no code has been released to modify AIs so complex like that; just a code that makes SuperNova come before Pale Horse would be long and hard to figure out already. After all, this code doesn't really "change" attacks, only modifies the animation and damage, and only with the attacks you can use through Green Materia.
I've written codes of similar complexity, and I'm no gameshark guru. I mean, the idea of simply altering flags when variables occur, and then using groups of conditional codes shouldn't be too hard to turn into reality. I've already used nested conditionals in my HP code, so it shouldn't be too tricky...just quite a long code.
For instance, you can generate loops to cut certain attacks out, or force Sephiroth to use a particular move when in a HP range...
@Sersathias quick! contact that gay guy! whats his name? bud focker? and i realize that im comment on someone who made this comment 11 months ago<_< oh well ...oh yeah and leave sephiroth alone...
This code modifies the next enemy that you will fight, no matter if it's a normal, boss battle, or even chocobo battle. So you could change the Sephiroth at the end of the game, but for that, you'd need to have the code enabled before fighting it.
Yes. Only the battle itself is modified, everything else remains the same way, both before and after the battle. The music you would hear in the normal unmodified battle remains the same, so you could fight Emerald with the boss battle music (using the code in the fight against a boss), or Sephiroth with the Chocobo music (using the code and hunting a chocobo in the tracks...i did that myself xD)
Depends of how you're playing the game (emulator or not) and what emulator you're using...but regardless of the emulator, the programs "CEP" and "PEC" should work. (What doesn't work with CEP works with PEC :P)
And no, this specific battle only works on Disc 3.
Just a Spell Modifier code, allowing me to change the animation, base damage and whether to cause damage or not. Then i just "merged" it with the enemy spells code and used my knowledge gained from the Ultimate Weapon test i made :P
Only the spells that you can use with Green materia can be modified this way, and as you found out, the modification applies everytime the spell is used.
It is logically possible to modify EVERY attack, from summons to enemy skills, to enemy attacks and even limits like Cait Sith's, but i couldn't figure out the code for it D: But the code will be the same for each "set", so, if i find the code to change Pale Horse, i could change SuperNova and Deen and every other enemy spell.
So, if you could find out the code for the enemy attacks, the code would no longer had that downside, right? That would be amazing, it would give creating monsters much more possibilities.
And also, the code doesn't change the set targets to be hit by the attack (1 or All), so i can't make Break hit all targets or DeSpell to hit only one, even if i change it to other spells that would always hit 1 or all targets (like Comet or Ultima)...all i change is the animation and damage, not the actual attack. This said, Reflect-able attacks will remain that way, and if they were elemental spells, the spell will always inflict such elemental damage.
Next to vegetas super sajin theme, this is one of the best soundtracks to a boss fight out there... Nice job on the vid...

That last attack was BS. I hadn't fought him yet, but CAN you defeat him?

I mean, why cant you leave sephiroth colour alone?

Is it possible to modify a normal occurence enemy? Like, if say I wanted to change the actual sephiroth at the end of the game?

How can you put the gameshark code available and does it work with every ff7 cd-file ?

Well I use ePSXe...are those some kind of gameshark code inserters ???
Miksy91 2 years ago
If you use ePSXe, then you should go and look for the PEC program (i use ePSXe too). And pretty much...you could call them "cheat device emulators".

Spell modification ftw! I'll give it a try tomorrow.

Fallen sephiroth got owned, by Level a 7 Tifa, no final attack no summons, no coin, no kotr, no chocobuckle and inital armor, I'll soon upload it.

Can't wait to see it, though i kinda have an idea of how it'll be like, judging by your other challenges pwned by using Tifa as well XD

Anyway, I'm very intersted in how you changed the attacks.......

I see, but does that mean only attacks, used by the party can be modified, this way? I mean, is it possible to modify, lets say, pale horse?
