Labrador puppy goes for it mating! Max 4months

Did that leave the other dog pregnant because we left my 2 year old male lab at my friends house he has a female 6 year old lab do they have puppies but they said my dog was to short is that possible, I really want to know?

recently max has become a father of 8 lovely puppies he mated at the age of 1 and did a great job !!!!

You need to keep them seperated. A 16 week old puppy is capable of getting a female pregnant. But, their sperm is not mature until around 7 months (at least), so you will only end up with terribly deformed puppies. This is why the AKC has banned registering puppies sired or damed by dogs less than 7 months.

@MsLabMom don't worry he wasn't able to do anything, and we certainly wouldn't have let him at that age. It was more the amusement of him trying! He is now a over a year old and sire to eight beautiful pups which are nearly four weeks old.
