In a world where much of our time is spent listening to unwanted sounds, few songs and even fewer voices truly stand out as original. This is one of them.
Thanks to the BBC / PBS series for introducing me to this magical group. The talent is incredible, and the fusion of chamber, folk, and bluegrass music along with Ms. Barker's incredible voice, brings such wonderful sadness of missing true love into my heart.
Really fantastic track, just wondering if there is a full version with the lyrics "Tram lines across northern skies, cut my blue heart in two." as used in the Wallander title sequence?
Take part in the 'Storm the charts' movement, to get independent musicians like Emily into the charts for a week 27.06 - 4.07.10 , instead of the big labels!!

Their latest album is very good. Well worth buying! Saw them at The Greenman festival: very good live too! Found their music sublime.

Just watched a couple episodes of Wallander...and had to look up the beautiful theme...
The field of rape...an obvious nod to the first episode's opening scene...awesome song..

Beyond beautiful... her haunting voice connects on a soul level.

for those who don't know this video is a reference to the very bleak first episode of the BBC Wallander for which this song is the theme song...

Absolutely love the sublime music, but I probably would've made the video gloomier and grey. Beautifully sad
