koaftder is exactly right. These bugs were probably living in this woman's pantry and got into the rice. I bet they're in her pasta too, and cereals. I buy the same stuff from Harris Teeter and have never had a problem with it. Cherylchk... Clean your darned pantry!!!!
I don't understand why the poster thinks that the store is responsible for as she states "the RICE WEEVILS may have been in the rice grains when it was packaged, then hatched..." How on earth was the company supposed to know they were in there if they were tiny eggs? AND how does she know they weren't in her home and found the rice. That's what happened to us with our new apartment. Spiders and Weevils.
