Now that's how radio should sound, just as though the DJ is cooking bacon in the studio . All this digital clarity is overrated, we want crackle with our pop !! :-)
This one (Merry Go Round) is not from R'dam, but from A'dam.
You mentioned "One Sided Love" (my favorite DK-song) from the same R'dam concert, however that was from Den Haag, the same night as A'dam (feb. 28),
I was at the R'dam show on march 2, after they had a remarkable show in Groningen on march 1 (someone turned off the electrics because of the noise.....lol.
The Den Haag show was on Dutch TV a few days later, sadly those tapes have been destroyed.
@vanu49 Thanks! they´re were great amps.. still are. The recent models are quite different from the old Orange matamps. You can get some singing blues/rock tones on lower volumes. With a good reverb unit, it's able to nail the Greeny-sound from this era.
@Bluesblaster Thank you! I once played in a band where the other guitarplayer used an old 100 watt Orange amp, and I used a Hiwatt amp. These amps worked very well together in the live mix. I still own the Hiwatt amp and cabinet, though it´s semi-retired in a basement at this moment. The guy with the Orange amp sold it and bought a Fender Vibrolux, to reduce the volume.

@Renhjarta Definitely Orange, I wished then that once I would own a set.
Now that wish is merely based on nostalgia.
I can remember that the Den Haag show, on TV, showed the Orange set as well.
Like I mentioned before, this is not from De Doelen, Rotterdam, march 2, but from the Concertgebouw, Amsterdam feb 28 1969.

One of my early favorites of Greeny's Mac.
I also love the performance of this at the Roadhouse in London, pretty much Greeny's last gig with them as Fleetwood Mac.
I do love how he slows this number along with 'Rollin' Man' when he performs them live, leaves himself more gaps. xD
