  • i prefur the 71' king cat... not the new ones. still sweet sled (for being new) haha

  • I got a 2002 King Cat 900 with a 174" track with 2" paddles and have it bored out to 1147cc with a D&D big bore kit. Arctic Cat is AMAZING!!! I dont have alot of places to ride it though, since im in central michigan.

  • my friends king cat bogs down like that to. his is an 04. whats funny is my 01 summit 800 with a 144 2" paddle keeps up with it until we find a really long steep hill then his 162 will keep going. but thats a no brainer there. i gotta say all sleds are good and bad it just depends on what the guy perfers. i perfer a doo over any sled out there. i have had better luck with them. but the next sled is gonna be a apex. man i love the sound of those. anyways sounds good dude.

  • 10 more secs and it going to blow up

  • i just snapped my crank on my arctic cat. i have a 1150 cutler engine in it though im pushing about 250hp

  • Yeah! At 2000 feet below sea level!

Those motors are rated at 220hp at sea level. It may feel like 250hp but its not!

  • arctic cats have the most stout cranks fact skidoos also have a great bottom end and i belive thay are the two strongest chasis although im not shure about the latest skidoo rev. i have seen almot all types hit trees and stumps and the arctic cats seem to be the strongest

  • I agree but the skidoos are lighter and i belive that makes them more fragile but don't get me wrong they make a sick sled.

  • i agree that cats chassis are strongest, all 3 ZR chassis are super ridged but the twin spar is so much better.

as for the cranks, the old 600 twins i have seen break cranks right in half. i believe it has to do the the engine creating a certain harmonic that vibrates the metal until it finally gives out. when my dads 600 broke the crank he was just coasting.

the old 700 cranks are strong too but have a tendency to snap the PTO shaft right off from too much torque. ive see 2 700s do that

  • i have a bypass kit on my king kat from slp and i still have powder bog prob. i was thinking that mabe twins would work better? smaller tips to blow away snow mabe anyone have experence with this?

  • get the boondocker fuel management box. had the same problem, nothing real bad( as nothing is with arctic cat) but it was still annoying every once n' awhile. anyways, yeah- tht'll solve ur problem.

  • gotta love the king kats.

  • horney haha i fucking love carving in the deep shit. that makes my 144 look like a normal 121 track.

  • Awesome video btw ..

  • I dont care if its someone saying polaris is the best, i ride a polaris but i'll give them a thumbs down just for being retarded, no body knows what the best brand is .. Yea polaris is good but so isnt arctic cat, and yamaha ... and skidoo ... there all wicked nice sleds, and i dont care which one i own as long as im riding.

  • Usually if someones talking shit about Arctic Cat, I'll stick up for 'em. But I'm the same way, I love to ride as long as its a long track and in the mts. : )

  • is it ported

  • looks lyk fun, but we never get that much snow. sometimes i find powder in sloughs and bush, but still wish i had more

  • i wish we had powder like that here

  • ive been sledding sence i was 6-7, ive had arctic cat yamaha and polaris, right now its a polaris

  • nice sled

  • I have been sledding since I was 8 years old...and you dont have to have a decent sled!!!

  • polaris' suck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • You wish they did!! But hay my next pic besides polaris would be arctic cat.

  • the rider has to be fairly experienced, and has to have a decent sled to do that..and it dosnt fuckin matter which way u carve...nice sled and great carve by the way

  • fuck yeah boys, arctic cat are the fucking best, and no, it doesnt matter witch fucking way you guys go, it just may be a little harder for the rider leaning in the other direction. but yes, it does matter what kind of fucking sled you got, just like what crackhead2222 said, try doing this on like a touring sled or a really really old sled.

  • Fucking n000bs of course it matters what sled you have try this out with an touring 500...dumbass

  • james your a dumbass if you own a cr85 your probaly to young and weak to carve

  • Hey guys does it matter what sled u have???

  • Yes!

  • Hey guys when ur carving does it matter what kind of sled u have??? or what way u go??

  • its not about the sleds...its about the rider...duh

  • nice carve but lets see you do it other direction

  • How many sleds could do it in the other direction? Bog would be a bitch!

  • Does it matter what sled u ride??

  • dude, that's one SICK king cat....betchya that was a 'Raydog setup"
