Yes, yes....better than Deep Purple, better than Zep, better than Sabbath....Now the only parallel to Heep is Lucifer's Friend, the first...Congrats Mick Box and fellows...Superb hard rock....
You speak the truth. "Purple" today sounds nothing like they used to! HEEP has regained their classic sound, and they rock harder now than DP has in decades.
Funny...I also started to compare Heep to Purple, Even I am huge DP fan...it seems now that Heep has done something much better. Any way, BOTH of these great bands have been able to do powerfull records in last decade. 60 years old musicans CAN do many things better than 20-years old hot-heads.
Oh Yes...Like a Panzer doing 80, 90, 100 MPH! Wake up! Heep is definitely back! And still 'Umble as ever! When is the U.S. Tour, I want front row seats?
Sound or suggestions of 1971 with a new energy and new riffs, Phil and Trevor are moving and singing in fine form, new lively style from Mick Box; WOW! Heep is back.
Nice sound from Russell too (back on the drum kit). Can't wait for their US Tour - when will it happen?
All three new songs from the upcoming "Wake the sleeper" album sound great to me. This one is outstanding. Could be from 75 or so. Reminds me of the old Single B-side "What can I do" - hope the album will sound as good as they do live ... cheers, P.
Wow!!! I can't get enough!!! This is definatly the Heep we know and love. I keep clicking the restart. I hope the new album is a total success worldwide.
"Waking the Sleeper is an outstanding album. Every track is perfect!! Way to go guys!!

Very great song, if the studioalbum version is as good or better, this might be their best song in a while.
