Can anyone help me? I’ve been looking around for A TRULY MONOTHEISTIC faith to follow. So far, I’ve been bitterly disappointed.
All the major faiths I’ve tried seem to have backslid into near paganism, with complex, obscure hierarchies of beings to worship. Sure, God is at the top, but below there are thousands of angels, saints, prophets & ancestral spirits who can apparently intercede & give advice if you talk to them nicely enough. One even claims God had a son walking about here on earth!
If you bow down, respect, crying and kissing a stone. Is that idolatry? i want to be a muslim but then, I cant bow down to a box of rocks. (the kaaba)
Im serious. I want to know more about Islam and the prophet. I have read that the kaaba contains a meteorite rocks and it was broken into pieces and put in together in a metal support. you suppose to touch it when you go to hajj.

The Shahada is the testimony of faith that you bear full witness and comprehend that there is no other deity worthy of worship other than God almighty, exalted and most high. Before saying the Shahada, you must undertake some simple confirmations, or your Shahada would be a fake one because of your lack of knowledge of Islam as a belief.
The bowing down to rocks isn't really how it is. That Ka'aba is the direction of where we face our daily prayers to God. In the Qur'an, God reveals that any direction is a direction that He will be pleased with when we pray, but the city of Mecca is the Golden Ratio of this planet and our prayer direction has been decreed to be there. As for kissing the stone and crying, that's a tradition that some Muslims carry out but is nothing close to being a mandatory pillar or principle of faith.

Contrary to islamic propaganda, it was *not* built by Abraham, and he was never in mecca. The pagan kabaa was an alter to 360 pre-islamic pagan arabian dieties.
Muslim incorproate this purely pagan tradition into islam. You pray towards a pagan shrine (muslims prayed to Jerusalem at their start).

Is that your proof that The bible says so? That is not proof. Firstly the Bible has way too many contradictions, absurdities and incest stories to be taken seriously as a accurate historical document or the word of God.

I never said Jesus was white, and that has nothing to do with anything. Jesus, Moses and Abraham wouldn't have been arab either. They would have been lighter skin Israeli.

The Bible does have alegorical and metaphorical stories (like Job for example). However, the quran has many of the same stories, yet claims that they are real (like Job for example). When it comes to Prophets, what is more believeable...a person with human qualities who does things that humans do (make mistakes, fail to act properly ect...) or a prophet with near superhuman attrubites? Muslims get this idea in their head that prophets are peeople without the ability to make a mistake. That is much more like a fairytale than history.

However, that is not the reason historians accept the Bible as historially sound. Archeology is always finding relics assosiated with Biblical people and events, and most Biblical events are backed up by historical records. Granted, the Bible (and virtually every book in the world) doesn't get it 100% correct all the time, but it is a trustworth historical source.

Can God die? Well, the quran says allah can do *anything*, and the Bible says God can do almost anything, so yes, if God wanted to, He could die. Jesus could have saved Himself because He even said no one can take His life, but instead, He gives it up freely. I suppose you could call that suicide, but it was done out of love.

I have read the quran. I own a copy of it, and 2 islamic study guides. I have read many hadiths. I hope you realise that Bukhari makes claims that severly damage islam and the quran.

Can anyone help me? I’ve been looking around for A TRULY MONOTHEISTIC faith to follow. So far, I’ve been bitterly disappointed.
All the major faiths I’ve tried seem to have backslid into near paganism, with complex, obscure hierarchies of beings to worship. Sure, God is at the top, but below there are thousands of angels, saints, prophets & ancestral spirits who can apparently intercede & give advice if you talk to them nicely enough. The bowing down to rocks isn't really how it is. That Ka'aba is the direction of where we face our daily prayers to God. In the Qur'an, God reveals that any direction is a direction that He will be pleased with when we pray, but the city of Mecca is the Golden Ratio of this planet and our prayer direction has been decreed to be there. As for kissing the stone and crying, that's a tradition that some Muslims carry out but is nothing close to being a mandatory pillar or principle of faith.

We dont pray to the kabaa. it is only the direction we face while we pray to God. This is for unity.
In order to worship something you must have the belief in your heart that it is God. No Muslim in the world ever thinks of the Kabaa as God.

Contrary to islamic propaganda, it was *not* built by Abraham, and he was never in mecca. The pagan kabaa was an alter to 360 pre-islamic pagan arabian dieties.
Muslim incorproate this purely pagan tradition into islam. You pray towards a pagan shrine (muslims prayed to Jerusalem at their start).

The proof is that the quran is 100% wrong when it says Abraham built the kabaa. 1) Abraham may or may not have ever lived, but most historians believe that he was a real person (but this can't be proven). 2) Virtually all historians agree that the Biblical account would be much more accurate than the quranic account, and the Bible says he went almost inthe opposite direction

I never said Jesus was white, and that has nothing to do with anything. Jesus, Moses and Abraham wouldn't have been arab either. They would have been lighter skin Israeli.
The fact is, no one is 100% when the kabaa was built, but it was *NEVER* monothestic untill mohammad. Prior to then, it was purely pagan.

The Bible does have alegorical and metaphorical stories (like Job for example). However, the quran has many of the same stories, yet claims that they are real (like Job for example). There are just as many contradictions in the quran
I never heard of Pat Robertson. All my Biblical and quranic knowledge, for 7 years, comes from secular sources...not apologetical sources

When it comes to Prophets, what is more believeable...a person with human qualities who does things that humans do (make mistakes, fail to act properly ect...) or a prophet with near superhuman attrubites? Muslims get this idea in their head that prophets are peeople without the ability to make a mistake. That is much more like a fairytale than history.

However, that is not the reason historians accept the Bible as historially sound. Archeology is always finding relics assosiated with Biblical people and events, and most Biblical events are backed up by historical records. Granted, the Bible (and virtually every book in the world) doesn't get it 100% correct all the time, but it is a trustworth historical source.

Can God die? Well, the quran says allah can do *anything*, and the Bible says God can do almost anything, so yes, if God wanted to, He could die. Jesus could have saved Himself because He even said no one can take His life, but instead, He gives it up freely. I suppose you could call that suicide, but it was done out of love.

@libertyjusticeforal1 The way we know the Biblical account would be more accurate is due to the fact that Abraham settled in the land that the Israelites lived in. This doesn't prove Abraham was real, but it does show that at least the Bible gets geography and the history related to it correct.
I have read the quran. I own a copy of it, and 2 islamic study guides. I have read many hadiths. I hope you realise that Bukhari makes claims that severly damage islam and the quran.

Do you read what you write? First , you say God only chose "Jews " as prophets , then you say that Buddhism , zoroatrian, but only islam is not from God. Which is it you believe? One day, he walked out of his home to find no garbage. He immediately went to the woman's house and inquired about her to find that she was ill and he offered his assistance. He foretold that he would die on the cross in Isaiah 53:5 which was written 800 years before Jesus came
No one forced Jesus to go to the cross, at any time, he could have left Jerusalem but he chose to go to the cross

The first followers of Jesus were Jews,and they were messianic Jews that is they believed Jesus was the Messiah but not all Jews lived in Israel, some lived throughout the Roman Empire, and had all of them converted to Christianity or Islam, than God would not have been able to fulfill his promise of returning the Jews to Israel

God took on a human form that had to die on the Cross, as foretold in Isaiah 53: 5 that said he was pierced for our transgressions...and by his wounds we are healed because God desires to end human sufferings or hell on earth and to restore the world back to true paradise ( Rev 21:3-4) by returning people back to the awareness that God is with and in all people on earth to guide them (John 14:20)

At first, the Kaa'ba had pagan idols inside of it. when Prophet Muhammad started receiving revelations, he was ordered to pray to the Al' Aqsa Mosque which was still worshipped in as the House of God. After the Prophet(saw) destroyed all the idols, cleaned up the Kaa'ba of all the paganistic gods, then God ordered to pray toward the Kaa'ba. So naturally common sense. We only pray to ONE God.

When I was 9 years old, I was hit by a cargo truck while playing outside, I went under the truck, people in the neighborhood pulled me out and took me to Colombo Accident Hospital, and those who saw me bleeding in unconscious went to my Mom, and told her that Micheal was hit by a truck and his neck and head is hanging over, so my entire family thought I died, so did all neighborhood.
