  • Wow thats really cool

  • they look like tadpoles O.o

  • What is the Kilometer to Miles ratio?

    1 Kilometer= ??Miles

And whats the translation of 8,000 tons per sq. meter to PSI? (Pounds per square inch)

  • 1mile = 1.6kilometer

  • the biggest fish there is about 30cm there was a scale bar but unfortunately it sunk into the sediment with the mackerel bait.

  • Won't load.

    Just like mccain.

  • lol cool

  • i caught one of these on a dry fly - olive-winged caddis, i believe. ate it with some lemon... tasted a little "gamey".

  • I did the same, but complimented them with a dry chardonnay. Try that next time.

  • 1 metric tonne = ~2200 lbs

  • They look like tadpoles.

  • i have one in my fish tank and they also taste pretty good

  • why use tons when the rest is described in metric?

  • Tonnes is metric.

  • whoops, they gave up on metric here, didn't realize there was a tonnes. man we were lazy in naming our ton.

  • IF it is 8,000 tons per square meter, then those fish would be crushed! I call HOAX!

  • wow

  • Told you.

  • I dont get how they can survive down there, they look kinda gentle but can withstand the pressure.

  • they can survive down there because their structure is so much different, but that means if they came up to the surface the lack of pressure would kill them

  • ya, they would basically explode when they got to the surface, that's why there arent any in aquariums

  • Looks like sperm

  • i; think the one on the right is dead

  • ugly fish

  • thats why there white

    woooooo

  • those don't look that big but to live so deep you'd expect them to have a bit of size wouldn't you?

  • If you live that deep and you're larger in size, you're subjected to more pressure, so in general no.

  • u don even no foolz

  • probably this fish will not exist after 20 years from the sea polution...

  • this is pretty cool, I wonder if it taste like chicken

  • so r they feasting on a fresh kill

  • dat dam der look like some good eating boy shit!

  • well damn i thought the deepest living fish was in my back yard

  • so those fish, if they were alive near the surface of the ocean would probably be the size of small whales.. thats nuts.

  • How can you tell how big they are? There's no scale reference.

  • Amazing nature!

  • seamen! over grown seamen!

  • so how big are they?

  • the biggest is about 30 cm.

  • kind of looks like 3 tail gold fish

if u know what i mean right?

  • they look like sperm

  • maybes its all the sperm thats gets flushed down the toilet and into the sea :P (dont bother me about this and that, i dont know where toilet pipes lead (sewerage), im only guessing)

  • lol ya they do

  • hmm i wonder if they found my son

  • Facinating

  • amazing.

  • whoa cool :>

  • The pressure is probably nothing to them, that is their enviornment.

I would like to see somone drop a large stake down to those depths and film it as it happened. If it was say like the size of a brisket would it end up like a peanut when it hit bottom?

  • a kilometer is 6 tenths (.6) of a mile. 8 kilometers would be 4.8 miles.

  • How deep is 8 kilometers?

  • Mount Everest is that high.

  • it's a half mile short of mt everest

  • As deep as my cock will slip down your throat!

  • LOL

  • thanks, you really know how to treat anyone who helps you in your battle.

  • Are you semi-retarded? How can you call people stupid and not be able to spell? idiot.

  • Fuck You..Stupid canadian

  • Does the camera use light? Or is that some kinda of infrared camera colorized?

  • they look like tadpole

  • If they explode when it comes to the surface, then the only way to study them intact will be for us to go to them.

  • then we probably be crushed due to the pressure which is why the explode if they fish them up

  • we did bring some up, they did not explode, but hey were dead

  • they wouldn't explode, but they would die and there eyes would pop out. it's simple depressurize them by bringing them up slowly. jereath is an idiot

  • I love to rape doughnuts! It's one of my favorite past-times. For those of you who disagree, i shall shit in your soup tomorrow evening. Have a good day, Bitch.

  • I don't disagree,but can't you find another ring sized object? lol

  • OH MY GOD,.... MUTANT TADPOLES!!!! EVERYONE RUN!!! ......Just kidding, good video

  • hope 4 all tht troble thay alest got a fish out 4 resarch

  • Geez talk thats a lot of pressure. Rudeboywaz, they wouldnt be able to get the fish out because the change in pressure would make the fish explode.

  • that's nearly 5 miles under ocean

  • Tadpoles don't have fins and don't live in salt water? Am I right?

  • sperm cells on steroids

  • XD

    nicce comment lol.

  • :p

    haha yeah

  • LMAO try this new audio preview they have for comments

  • i think it would be funny if the fish started to go to the surface when they were done... they would be like "oh crap...so they just go down for fun..." lol

  • goldfishies!!!

  • those are some deisel fish 80,000 tons per square meter of pressure and they swin around like its nothing if they went to normal sea level they would be like breaking the sound barrier underwater

  • that would be cool but it doesnt work like that lol

  • That might be true. But the rules of Drag and Lift still apply underwater, and the aerodynamics of those fish are way off to allow such high speed movement!

    (say "Touche!")

  • actually, at a 'normal' sea level, wouldn't they explode? Their bodies are used to huge amounts of pressure. Take away that pressure, and I'm pretty sure the little guys would pop...

  • Fishes just feel the pressure if they got a swim bladder, it is the air in it that can inflate if they climb too much. Bottom fishes usually dont have a swim bladder and woneel the pressure. If you fill a balloon with water, it wont shrink while you sink it, it takes air into it so the gas gets pressurised.

  • woah

  • There was an article about this deepest living animal and how they were eating shrimps. If you noticed them saying feeding on shrimps, then isn't the shrimp the deepest living animal too???

  • cool

  • those are albino tadpoles...

  • hahaha. probably are. those scammers

  • ahahahhahaa

  • hehehe they look cool.

  • goldfish and a hankchieft what are you talking about andrewpaxcum lol

  • they're cute! can't wait to learn more about them. and that little wierd thing crawling around with them from 45-48. they didn't say if that was a snail fish too, or not.

  • all those people who think this is dumb

    youre stupid

cause they get paid a lot for this

go back to your station and flip those damn burgers

  • tadpoles!!!!!!

  • Wow! That's pretty cool! :)

  • what happens when they r on surface level? do they explode from not having pressure? (ok that was a joke,) but seriously what happens? do they die? why?

  • there gut will come out of there mouth or any other opening it wouldnt be pretty

  • It WOULD be pretty... pretty awesome lookin.

  • In a sense, they do explode from the difference in pressure. Not like a fiery explosion obviously, more like what SplosionMan said.

  • this is not crap..this was on yesterday on discovery channel, this is true.

  • crap....same old story

  • if those fish can survive 10000 tons of pressure, what happens if you put like a 1000 pound weight on them on land?

  • they would never make it to land becuase their bodies would die because the pressure is what holds their body together.

  • doesn't work that way dumb shit, even the calculations you mentioned to make it seem like a good question were completely idiotic.

  • thats interesting... but i really dont care

  • they speak spanish too

  • albino tadpoles

  • lol scary creaturs

  • they look like white catfish

  • you took the words right out of my mouth ^_^

  • OH it must have been while you were kissin me! clap clap. clap.

  • sorry mate that joke deserves a thumb down ha

  • lol :)

  • those fish must be strong

  • not really, their body pressure is way more than ours, if there were right by you in a container, they'd blow up and the container could even overflow with fish insides, they're very compressed for a very very compressed environment.

  • lol, i wonder if they pop if you pull em up real fast!...yes i am just kidding

  • it looks like sperm lol

  • thats what i said!!! hahahaha

  • Hmmmm......Looks like sperm. Lol. Cool though.

  • I love your accent :D

  • coool wonder why its only 52 seconds ?

  • oh nice

  • holy shit

when's that fucker gonna be on my plate!?
