Should have done this with a lower setting of light source, like curtains closed. I find the FX sabers look better that way. More realistic.

i have a darth vader fx lightsaber to, but i think mines different a lil with the turning on lol coz i have to turn mine on on the switch on the middle of the lightsaber where urs turns on from back of the emitter, ive tried to do that with my one but it so hard lolz darth vader i reckon has the best handle design =p

update, they run for 90-150 only on ebay from what i seen and you look either for darth vader lightsaber, darth vader anh lightsaber, or darth vader rots light saber

This lightsaber is rare because it was the first edition force FX. It had an on-off switch at the top instead of the switch in the middle of the handle for the recent models. This model uses 6 AA batteries and is considered the ANH version. The newer models uses 3AAA batteries and is considered the ESB version. I am a fx saber superfan so let me know if you have anyquestions!

And just because you don't have the ANH doesn't make yours better, cuz it's not. The blade is thicker and slightly more advanced, the motion sensors are, like Yoda's, improved over the 2k6/7 generation sabers, and the sounds are louder, rid of "phantom sounds" and generally better. The On/Off switch is true to the LE, which makes it impossible to accidently flip over whilst spinning. You got served, geek style.

That is the real power button. Look on a normal MR Vader in that spot, there's a circle...which would be the on/off button. People just expect it to be on the rectangular thing.
