@onexero1 I find that both games would cater to different types of players. Serious Sam is also aimed at those who enjoy really arcadey types of shooters where one can use movement as a form of defense. From the gameplay footage I've seen, Duke Nukem Forever, while packed with humor, seems to play similarly to modern FPS games where people do things quite a bit slower. I hope I am wrong about that last part when the game is released.

@SecretLars It was actually better then I was expecting. I was expecting daikatana 2 but this one was actually playable. Its not nearly as bad as reviewers made it out to be. Of course, its an average game at best but I don't regret it. It was pretty fun/funny for what it was. (Search, "The hateful truth: duke nukem forever")

@chardwreck It is exactly the same as the original, just brought up to better graphics specs. I spent a whole two minutes when I first fired it up just looking at how the sunlight glints off the gun metal. It's quite a step up in terms of graphics.

These were redone to help freshen the franchise before they release Serious Sam 3. Which will be all new content.
