I find the vocals too soft for my liking, for this song. Not enough 'crunch'. Good cover though. Good range. I liked the instruments though, makes up for the feel of the voice.
@maynardmorrissey yeah .. in the first time, when i heared this song, I was irritated. But after listening twice, there goes the song from full. Phil's version is better, no question .... but this version is harder. I'd rather hear the original version, but sometimes I also like this coverversion ... because it is really good \m/

What do you think, then, how many musicians are using technical tools .... especially in the vocal range?? I like honest and accurate criticism, but not such a nonsense, as you are running it here. @BanditausBremen Actually, my parents knew Trent Gardener in High School...he was in my mom's choir class, and apparently he wasn't that good. He was also a self-absorbed jerk who was WAY too impressed with his own talent. He's a good songwriter, but he's not a good singer.
Is a decent version, there's no drama.

it was an opinion dude it's not my fault you can't take it.
take phils vocal track. very raw next to no editing just him sounds very rough and genuine.
this singers got loads of effects added to his original voice and it just sounds over produced.
this is an opinion don't cry about it mate
