Cheers fella, I struggle a bit coming up with drum patterns because I'm only half decent with guitar & piano so I will definitely find these little beats useful. Can't wait to program them in & have a play with them. Hopefully I can use them to learn and create something original :)

RSE replicates a real sound, MIDI does NOT.

Ah yeah man I just found out about RSE, I downloaded Guitar Pro 5 but I can't select for MIDI or RSE, it won't let me choose :s

You need to press F11 or go into "View" & select "Show dynamic notes".

Only other thing I can think of is make sure you installed the RSE sound fonts that you should have got with the torrent.

Make sure they're up to date & all installed properly.

Make sure you have the most up to date version of Guitar Pro for Windows.

Should be Guitar Pro 5.2

That might be it, I downloaded the full thing with keygen, but not off a torrent. It was just some random website download, I'll try downloading it off a torrent... which means re installing uTorrent for the 10th time -.-

Dude use the RSE (Real Sound Engine, it comes with Guitar Pro), it's totally worth it, it will enhance any song you're working on by so much.

is the numbers the same as in guitar pro? Like is Bass Pedal 36 in Tux? If so, what are the numbers in the first one? I would like to use it and make some variations if that would be cool with you. Thanks.

35 and 36 are bass pedals.

38 and 40 are snare

47, 45, 43, 41 are toms. High to low

46 open high hat, 42 closed

49 crash, 51 ride, 55 is splash? I think.

yeah, the lower numbers dont work. use numbers 27-87 for drums. 35 = bass drum, 40/38 =snare, 49= symbol...etc.
