The song is good, and of course since it's Gitaroo Man I don't have anything entirely negative to say about it, but.. it just lacks the flashy, distracting background images the the original Gitaroo Man had. It's much too plain.

Sure thing!

Okay the basics first:

PS2 version controls

Left analog stick controls the guitars tilt (Check the Attack and Charge pahses in the vid)

When you're lined up with line that has the orange bars, you press the square, circle, triangle, or X buttons at the start of the orange bar, and hold it until it ends, after that you keep going until you get to the end of the bar, if you do that correctly, you'll score damage on your opponent, mess up and you take damage!

Now this is my favorite part, Guard phase, you press buttons as symbolized coming in from multiple directions. Tap the buttons as they hit the center, this takes practice, but after a while it becomes easy and fun! Just be careful, cuz if you miss, you take damage.

Now the last two phases I'll talk about are the Charge and Final phases! Charge phase is basically the Attack Phase, only you can recover health, and you won't take damage, this phase is CRUCIAL! You won't get far if you don't use this phase to your advantage. The Final Phase is the end of the song, just play through this like an Attack phase and you got it down!

Another note, finding the game Gitaroo-Man for the PS2 isn't gonna be easy, or cheap. It goes for aroung $60-$80 used. Get the PSP version since it's a bit easier, even though all I own is the PS2 version.

No, it did come out as a port onto the psp, its called "gitaroo man lives!" its exactly the same except for the new vs game and duet which are both multiplayer
