Because most christians have a problem with the 7th Day Sabbath; most agree on all other 9 of 10 Commandments, but hate the 4th, which establishes WHO gave the Law. Hello, The Commandment of making no graven images states fourther in Ex 20 of bowing down and worshiping. God later commands Moses to make graven images in Ex 25. Romans 14: 5-6 and Luke 6:5 speak about the Sabbath. The first, that one regards one day as higher than another, the second verse is that the Son of man is Lord of the Sabbath and then there is Colossians 2:16 which regards being judged for being judged for new moon or Sabbaths. If we are honoring the Lord in our lives, letting Jesus live thru us and if we believe in the precious blood of Jesus as cleansing us from sin, God's grace to us, His method of His salvation imputed to us, we are saved.

@courag1 I think one of the reasons Christians began observing Sunday as Sabbath is that they practiced both since in the beginning those of faith were Jewish Christians. They kept the traditional Sabbath but also kept the Lord's day in honor of his resurrection.

I am not defending the Catholic Church. I am trying to take a Biblical view of this matter. That the RCC changed the Ten Commandments is not right.

Jesus will ask what day it will be and you say Saturday and you get into heaven. All Catholics will answer Sunday. They will be told it is saturday and most all Catholics will argue as to Sunday being the day of rest and if they argue as Sunday being the day of rest.
