@ubizmo Wow cool. It definatly shows, I played recorder when I was about 4 or 5 or so. I played Piano,a nd still do, with organ now, for 9 or so years. I've just started on Ocarina last week, last Wednesday to be exact.
@THEFINALHAZARD That's when you change the pitch of a note gradually, fading from one pitch to another. It's continuous, instead of discontinuous. Note bending on a recorder is difficult, but possible. It's just about impossible on a standard flute, although an open-hole flute makes it a bit more doable. On an ocarina, it's pretty easy, although it takes practice to control it.
When i record on my poly G it sounds awful... it might be me camera. You are the best MO player i have ever seen, a true role model, any pointers on how i can make my music better?
Thank you for the kind words. I don't think you sound awful, but all wind players, at every level, can benefit from the Whole Note Drill. It teaches you to get clear, steady, sound.
Great playing UB really like it a lot im looking forward to my first ocarina im probably going to get that poly in g it seems easy to play that's a big factor for me to start to learn a great instrument like the ocarina again nice work!
I'm glad you like them. I pretty much always have the MO with me, so I get to practice for short intervals all through the day. If I think of or hear a song that I think might work, I put a note in my Blackberry to check it out later.
I've seen many people play this song on an ocarina; you're the only one that got it right =P

@ubizmo Thanks ubizmo. By the way, I'm Kazareh on TON. How long've you been playing Oc's? You're, REALLY good!

@THEFINALHAZARD Thanks for the compliment. I started in September, 08. But I've played other woodwinds for a long time before that.

@THEFINALHAZARD You'll find you can do a lot more interesting things, like note bending, with the ocarina than you can easily do with a recorder.

@ubizmo What's Note Bending?

I'm very jealous.
Not for the way you play, of course :).
Because I just got FOUR polycarbonate ocarinas and no one had red inline all black and grey! :)

Nice!
How can you come up with that many songs to play on the MO's and get time to practice them?
you post so many videos, and they're so good! :D
