i dont get it first put a a ruberband on top of it and place in the water to make it spin im confused please reply

@kerriechapa210 ok the purpose of the water is to help the paper retain its shape, so by putting the rubber band on, the paper will know what shape to return to. so place the rubber band around the compressed version and wet it, later take it out and set in sun to completely dry out, by then you can take off the rubberband and stretch the flasher out, if done right it should snap right back to the closed position. hope this helped

What kind of paper did you start out with? I'm asking because all paper has different characteristics to it and this paper looks like it has a decent amount of spring to it after you take it out of the water. Thanks!

believe it or not it's just plain printer paper

but to be more specific it's HP printer paper
