  • Whyyy have I never seen this before???

  • i forgot how good this is. katee is incredible and will is....incredible.

  • woww

  • so BEAUTIFUL! <33333

  • this is like the Turn to Stone of season 4..pure magic

  • The routine was too busy for the song. But they are both really good.

  • ... ahhhh! :'(

  • Real men wear denim shorts.

Real men can toss bitches like they weigh nothing.

Real men work hard at ballet for their muscles.

"Imma give that bitch a duet. Bitches love duets."

  • @grumpyclouds93 you just made my life complete with that comment

  • I'm not sure which one is Katee ;)

  • yeah they both are amazing but the routine had too many tricks

  • loveskatee n wil :D

  • Wow, this is in incredible!

  • The choreography is astounding! I just don't think the song fits well with it. it didn't really mend together for me. But the technique and the flexibility of BOTH dancers is just...breath-taking!

  • haha kate and will...does anyone see the resembelence ????

  • club foot lol

  • omg i just died thatt was sso goood

  • really amazing

  • People can be so freaking ignorant. Can't you see that this routine is absolutely amazing choregraphed by the two most prestigious pas de deux choreographers and dancers of all time? Desmond Richardson and Dwight Rhoden have a very unique way of showing expression through dance and I cannot see why some people cannot understand that. This piece is brilliantly choreographed and if you can't see or even comprehend what I'm trying to say, then sorry that you're blind to real beauty in the world.

  • @Aaronjohnmayes01 stop being so no it all and i do classical ballet trainingband comps and do u c me bragging about every little thing about dance... No so stop being so hipercritical!

  • Male dancers don't just dance to be with drop-dead gorgeous women (which is not a bad thing at all :)), we dance, because it fills us with joy

  • This video is a favorite on Vientiane

  • at 1:19... i was ..what the hell? ->replay... and than... i thought.. WHAT THE HELL O_O

    awesome :D

  • the choreography was crap?! Desmond Richardson is an icon! He has a strict Modern dance background, being with Alvin Ailey and Artistic Director of Complexions. His work is pure art and not all spectacle. I felt the dancers had some technical issues and Desmonds stuff is not easy to execute correctly. I felt the girls feet and arms need work. I saw her shoulders tense up a lot too. Everyone has different taste though! :-) I personally find Desmond brilliant!

  • was beatiful such amazing dancers i never forget these two!

  • Thumbs Down to the 22 ppl that didnt like this video because i loved it :-D

  • yeah right, every dancer is a gay? so when your father danced your mother during the their wedding day, then your father is gay...lol

  • omg this almost brought tears to my eyes...... amazing choreography, and i love how you guys excute everything... love it:)

  • @SPDSDancer7

...ah... What were you looking at? Because I, and the majority of other viewers, were able to enjoy fantastic, strong, and graceful choreography and performancers

  • Its hard to make cheesy choreography like this look good. Well lets face it... Its impossible. Fortunately, So You Think You Can Dance has come a long way...

  • Dance is about expression not gymnastics. They have huge potential.

  • Comment removed

  • they are really good but yeah the routine was crap and they just looked hyper active and un co-ordinated.

  • damn he practically did a neckroll with her, damn this was amazing!!!!!

  • "Imagine there's no heaven

    It's easy if you try

    No hell below us

    Above us only sky

Imagine all the people living for today

    Imagine there's no countries

    It isn't hard to do

Nothing to kill or die for

    And no religion too

Imagine all the people living life in peace"

  • I WANT TO CRY T.T

  • nice 1..............

  • the routine is reaallyy baad. theres no self expression or soul or whatever you said its just randomly moving around in a stupid way

  • @marissacharleswagg This was choreographed by and extremely accomplished choreographer Desmond Richardson. Look up some of his choreography. He has a very specific contemporary ballet style and within it there's a very specific form of expression. It might not make sense to all viewers, but to accuse his work of being expression less or just "randomly moving around in a stupid way" is pretty ignorant.

  • I really wush the crowd would shutup so I can enjoy the moment lol

  • omg soo beautiful

  • Like what lady gaga said.

" it doesn't matter If u r gay, bi, or lesbian because baby u were born this way"

Cause I can't dance btw I LOVE THIS DANCE

  • that was beautiful!

  • The best way to get a girl is to learn how to dance well. Every girl I ever spoke to lements the fact that they cant dance with their guys at the club. And they always go all gooey when they see a guy dancing romantically. Also, for some reason, the word has gotten around that guys who can dance also make love really really well. So, you think guys that dance are gay? Really, it is the best way to get a girl, apart from being stinking rich.

  • @jerramy Yes, I can personally attest to that. One becomes spoiled.

  • I like this dance.

Somewhere, however, John Lennon is rolling in his grave.

  • @AshNoelDance Re. "rolling over in his grave," is that specifically for the way his song's being sung, or the dancing being done to it, or all the teenybopper screaming over it? Or something else?

  • @AvalonMorley

The way the songs being sung. And the teenybopper screaming. The dance is great.

  • im sorry i cant get over how gay he looks

  • @NEVERBETTERnat: How do you find him to "look" gay? He just looks like a strong dancer and partner to me.

  • @NEVERBETTERnat are you kidding me? did you not see those muscles, his strength, his elevation, his a la seconde turns? come on

  • My lord. Who choreographed this? It's spectacular!

  • i love it best dance ever

  • I think the choreo is beautiful, but does not really match the music. Amazing tho

  • To be fair they are both technically very good dancers, but the routine was crap!

  • @BIGBEN2424 I completely disagree. The routine emphasized the creativity of dance rather than the power dancers have. It was more about the soul than the muscles. Desmond Richardson and Dwight Rhoden are two of the most powerful and beautiful dancers around. Look again for not just the typical thrills but more of a story line and expression. That is what was being conveyed.

  • @BIGBEN2424 Meh, im in different! lol I liked it but its basically a "Tricks" Routine

  • @BIGBEN2424 it is not about the routine, though. the movements were precise and sharp, and you could feel the story they were telling, through dance. THAT is dance. not the routine.

  • @BIGBEN2424 i agree

  • Comment removed

  • he is a beautiful dancer...i find her so and so!

  • Sooooo good! Love it

  • Fucking AMAZING!!!!!!

  • Amen! As a teacher, I'm tired of guys always assuming if men dance they are gay.

Did you ever stop to think how smart they are surrounding them selves with beautiful girls, lifting them? DUH! They are smart!

  • @starcreator i don't assume he's gay, but i sure do wish he was. he's gorgeous :)

  • @starcreator But most of em are gay for sure...

  • @starcreator what can we expect from a culture that breeds stupidity and ignorance and dosen't hold these guys to a higher standard. Until we do, we can only expect that kind of ignorance.

  • fucking amazing

  • The dance was epic, but I like John Lennon's version of Imagine better

  • not saying that the girl wasn't really really good, but the guy....oh my gosh...he's amazing!!! He has such poise and elegance! I wish that I was that fantastic! THis just gave me something to work towards <3

  • omg what a body! muscle only:)

  • THE SECOND TO LAST LIFT WAS FABULOUS!

  • *Chills.*

  • This duet is not a Pas de Deux. In ballet (or any form of dance), a Pas de Deux is where the couple first dance together, then the male goes off and the female does a soloist variation. Then she goes off, the male comes on and does a variation. Then they both come back and dance together for the coda. This however, is a duet, NOT a Pas de Deux.

  • @33Rache A pas de deux is a dance for two. It does not mean only the classic ballet showcase format, with two variations & coda. Some famous classical pas de deux do not follow it exactly: many have other things thrown in, including dances for corps or other soloists, along w. the 2 leads. Also, think of Swan Lake Act 2, w. no male variation, traditionally. Thre are mny now clssic, cntemporary ballet pas de deux tht dn't follow the trditional, classical format, but they are pas de deux.

  • Woooow....

  • Imagine is not a David Archuleta song. Its by John Lenon.

  • @BlowerOfMinds John Lennon song, sung by David Archuleta

  • @BlowerOfMinds but they were performing to Davids version, so your comment is irrelevant!!

  • @complicatednamibian your comment is even more irrelevant. you could have gone on ignoring mine but instead you decided to make a deal from it. let it go i was correcting the info.

  • @BlowerOfMinds Congratulations Captain Obvious! Would you like a medal for your amazing breakthrough!?

  • @DarkJoker99 um i was correcting the info...no need to b a bitch abt it.

  • @BlowerOfMinds Oooh a curse word insult on the internet. SCARY!

  • i think so

  • Oh my goodness his leaps are unbelievable!

  • oh my god that was SO good! the choreo was amazing; not just tricks. but real dance incorporated in that.

  • I loved Will wish they would bring him back. He was my favorite along with Twitch

  • They're amazing no question. But the choreography itself seems more focused on doing tricks than meaningful movement.

  • the outfits are crap. the dance is good.

  • This is the most beautiful dance I've ever seen.

  • @angelbaam

And that is why they chosed contemporary - because every chav doing "sophisticated" breakdance or hip hop can be teached to do contemporary. Do me a favor and turn hip-hop hoodie into pro ballet dancer in 2 months. If you will, I will giv you permission to carry on publishing your crap on youube, while I'll publicly admit I was terribly wrong.

  • amazing,.

  • You betta DANCEE boyy!!! He is AMAZINGG!! He dances from the very top of his head to the tips of his fingers/ feet!!! I could cry from just watching how powerful and graceful he is!

  • this always makes me cry! sooo beautiful

  • this was really beautifull......amazing!

  • ....can't....stop...watching... o.O

  • @blinkzone1 contemporary isn't really his thing just look at his other dances....they make they push people out of their comfort zone into a different type of dance. He is just moving the way they told him to and i think he did it really well

  • Katee is so beautiful!

  • Music kids ~_~. It's not just about technic. It's disappointed to see such a beautiful song unrespected and right out ignored.

  • @KuriChou yeah, i was like...what does this have to do with the song?

  • @iloveme2cute Right ! I mean, technic is enjoyable but it doesn't make an art. I need to feel. And then it's too fast ! The music is all smooth and flowing and they're just droping their technic on us >~< ! Where's the rush

  • I LOOOOOOOVE this routine!!!!! It was soo beautiful. I wish they were partners from the start!

  • words can have a gender aswell or ? So why ?

  • AMAZIIINNGGG

  • thats why, in my opinion, dancing is gay. No i cant move like them.. why should I ? Best on it, the touch of pink in the spotlight xD

  • @atzebww Cool story bro, tell it again.

  • @atzebww so could you tell me why you think dancing is gay? I am intrigued to know why an art form can have one specific sexuality.

  • @atzebww Gay? Are you kidding me? Edward Villella-boxer in the Bronx, decides to do ballet over boxing. He became a principal dancer with NYC Ballet and later married Linda Carbonetto. They are the owners and directors of the Miami City Ballet and are the proud parents of two girls and a boy. So, how do you think dancing is gay after you heard this guys story?

  • @aaronjohnmaynes01 1 of a million.

  • @atzebww 2 because I am straight, it goes to show, not every male dancer is gay

  • @UDWRocks: you think Will is better than Josh across the board? Or is it that you only base your judgements on one style?

  • nossa demais

  • I'm definitely a fan, but the first half of the choreography is totally stolen from Jiri Kylian. Anyone curious, look up "Petite Mort" by him. Part 2 is where that stuff comes in. Some of those moves are practically transplanted.

  • That was freaking incredbile.

  • Wow now that's called dancing!!

  • wow, soooooooooooooooooo gorgeous

  • To all of you who are mad because it's set to David Archuleta, instead of John Lennon... It's cheaper to set a song to a cover than to the original (especially the Beatles) because the rights are less.

  • I took a break from SYTYCD after Will was voted off early. No way should he have gone home before the top 4. Look at that dance! Incredible.

  • @alperry02 That's what I'm saying! This was the last season I watched because it became so apparent that talent was not the driving factor of the show but popularity and votes. If it's not actually about the dancing, why should I bother watching?!

  • @UDWRocks that's what ever reality show is about. Notice they dont say they're picking Americas best dancer. They're picking America's favorite dancer. How ever they showcase quite a few amazing dances and bring more attention to the art so why complain and bitch about what should have been apparent to you from the start. Yes I liked him better than most of the other male dancers and thought he left early but I also feel privleged that I got to watch that on tv. Get over it

  • FYI William Wingfield is straight. I don't really see why the dancers' sexuality should matter at all, it's a PERFORMANCE, and dancers 'perform/act' through body language. There are many dancers out there that can simultaneously evoke both grace and power, regardless of whether they're gay or straight.

  • @MsMovieBuff4REAL hes such a moving person. ive had the amazing opportunity of taking a class from him, and even more so of an opportunity to have a conversation with him, and he is truly inspiring.

  • @MsMovieBuff4REAL no the prob i have is that its tough seeing a man trying to dance a man's role but he is akward doing so cuz he gay. for that matter i dont like it when the guy is straight and they try to make him dance extra gay preformances......it just doesnt fit and is obvious!

  • Contemporany is not just technical. It's imposible to dance it if you're not born to do it! Hip-hop or ballroom everybody can learn. But contemporany is moore than that. And I didn't knew that if a guy is elastic, he's gay. That's a great joke!

  • Comment removed

  • @paidpal you should really consider your words, especially because contemporary is very technical. You must be very good in ballet, and still have a feel and breathing for contemporary. I would know since I am a complete FEMININE dancer. Woman are powerful and may do What they choose, your probably just an inconsiderate male who doesn't know how to appreciate art. Go somewhere else with your small mind and rude comments.

  • Had to put it on mute so I didn't have to hear one of my favorite songs get butchered. -_-

  • nope, I don't like it. <3 xoStephy :P

  • this is one of the best dance i have ever watched!!i swear...

  • wow...just... wow

  • I would've loved this routine just that much more if it had been set to John Lennon and not David Archuleta.

  • @blinkzone1 they don't get to pick what they wear and many guy dancers are gay

  • @blinkzone1 His not gay....What an idiotic assumption.

  • @MrRounddrop Of course he is...look how he fucking moves.

  • @blinkzone1 He isn't, it's an art form buddy...He is Heterosexual and pulls more honeys than you...So...

  • @MrRounddrop He needs to put on some clothes. That's all i'm saying.

  • @blinkzone1 The ladies don't seem to think so...In a sense you're attempting to 'Cock block'.

  • John Lennon's was better. Just Saying.

  • gave me goosebumps

  • simply....beautiful...one of the best dance routines i've ever watched on this show.

  • i don't believe that some people pressed dislike!

  • @PaidPal ........ Oh Dang, Your Ignorance Is Showing.

  • I wish I wake up one day and there will be no contemporary dance anymore, so no skilless dancers will be performing, no childish songs will be played, women will start look like a women again, and americans will be cheering Oprah Winfrey, as they should. I do hope NWO will change that

  • @PaidPal Then move into another world.

  • @PaidPal Who the hell do you think you are? Contemporary dancing demands a lot of talent, patience and practice. It's probably one of the hardest types of dancing out there. I would know, I'm a dancer. These women look extremely feminine and the dance moves are tailored to show off their femininity. Grow up, get out a bit. And news flash, buddy, Oprah's over.

  • @bubblegirl232 So even with talent, patience and practice it still looks infantile, with some heavy jumps, poorly rechearsed acrobatics? Wow, good for you, stick to it and we all will be just fine.

PS. Congratulations for following tv shows with such commitment - perfect example of being "grown up". No, thanks.

  • AHHH!!!! i just met and danced with katee today!!!!!!!!!!! 8D

  • that end looked like a cross(:

  • it was great

  • Amazing U_u...

  • Unbelievable Tekkers!

  • Speechless.... *sigh*. :) :) :)

  • I get chills every time I watch this

  • @Tapper42nd

no surprised, you probably do get chills when you see twins hugging each other in "Full House". How emotional of you

  • @PaidPal if you don't like watching this video, stop watching and let other people get their own opinions about it. move on to a different video to critique.

  • @aaronjohnmaynes01

Can you explain me you moron how can I know whether I like the video or not if I won't watch it? Consider using your brain once a month

  • this was probably the best season of so you think you can dance so far. they had the best choreos for teh entire season that showcased the dancers talents beautifully

  • @pitterpat4 i agree and they try to say this past season was the best...no comparison in choreos and talent

  • @pitterpat4 i agree with u

  • Katee should've won.......she was PERFECT.

  • @AndeeDeeKate and Will should have gotten into the top 2

  • i forgot how amazing katee was...why didin't she win?

  • And this is why will or katee should have won.

  • I've just seen this for the first time and I have to say that is one of the best dance performances I've EVER seen. It was truly art in motion. I'm speechless with this piece. Yet another performance that gives evidence that the past seasons should be put on DVD. I would buy EVERY SINGLE SEASON.

  • He Looks Like A Member Of The Wolf Pack In Those Shorts :)

  • Is Katee Asian?

  • @CharsReverie yes
