  • @sr19 lbs isnt a measurement of mass, its the measurement of gravitational force exerted on the object.

  • @jakebrigand sorry, but you are wrong. force is always always always measured in newtons. mass is usually measured in pounds or kilograms, and is an intrinsic invariable property of a body, wheras weight (force) is a measurement of how much the body is pulled towards the larger body exerting the gravitational force.

    mass = lbs or kgs

    weight = force = newtons
