Of course the year I join the Coast Guard and get stationed outside the US would be the year Elton John and billy joel decide to do another one of these tours (and play in my hometown 2 weeks after I take leave to go home for a wedding) :(

I was lucky enough to get Comp tickets for the Front Row for this show. It was INSANE! I was up against the stage for this song, absolutely crazy!

read the comment. they got "comp tickets" meaning they didn't buy them, they were given them.

I saw the show in Cincinnati March 10, and I enjoy it more and more every time. Somehow they just keep getting better! I can't believe all the cry babies complaining about different aspects of the show-if you don't like it, don't go!! Leave the show to the true fans!!!!

Just saw this concert last night in Cincinnati...everything was incredible..we even had seats behind the stage...much better than expected, didn't feel slighted in the least..we could see everything...I was very much in my youth with these guys, it brought back so many wonderful memories!

it did the same thing last night in Tampa so I am going to guess that it should be doing that. I thnk the laugh was more for the line.... with an old man sitting next to me.....referring to Billy Joel.....

It would help if their pianos were in tune with each other. It's like they're playing in two different keys. Elton's piano sounds great, as always. Billy's sounds hollow and tinny, which for the life of me I can't understand how he or his sound engineer doesn't hear. At least the vocals were good.

thanks for the info...i read a review that said it was a glitch on opening night...seemed intentional to me otherwise i would have expected elton to have a "tantrum'.... :)
