lovely performance! I think I know some of you! Will see some of you at conclave this summer, am sure. Continued success with such fine ensemble performing!
@newgambagirl Thanks for the answer! I've already noticed that a little bit of pros in a group is quite efficient, and, as for me, I play better when playing with strong players...
The result is amazing because a viol consort might have sounded muddy. You have well mastered the reverb.
Thank you so much! I play the Viola, and i've always been interested in "Viols", I've only read about them but until now have never actually heard one. They are absolutely beautiful!
They're not "fretted cellos". They're viols (viole da gamba), a different family of stringed instruments, popular in the 16th & 17th centuries. Look it up in wikipedia.
I want this video on my Xperia ray unit.

@AlainNaigeon I wish that I could personally claim some credit here, but alas no, I was just in the audience this time around doing the recording.

Wonderfully played. This song seems to make a lot more "sense" in this video than the one from the Byrd compilation I had bought.

Amazing! thanks a lot for this video.
So you got the worst version ever (hard to believe) Few (really a few) likes and comprehend Byrd's music =)

One of the best performances of one among my favourite pieces. Very good pitch and clear polyphony!
