suicide is amazing, every time i listen to them i just think of how grungy new york is and all the dark trashy street's at night full of junkies and crazy shit going on that new york tends to hide.
I shot this footage in 1980 at Hurrah. I have a few projects planned to include this footage in a full concert release on DVD as well as an electronic mix of Hurrah performances. I hope to get some of these projects done this year.
I hope you do. Suicide were so largely influential (I hear traces of them in every No Wave and Industrial band and even most Electronica acts), but they're so largely forgotten today. And that whole Evil Elvis thing? Vega had that down in like '71! Long before Danzig!

Probably 1980. Martin have the Prophet Keyboard (after the Farfisa Organ) and the sound is not harsh as the begining. Look for the 'Ghost Rider' live CD on Roir it's the same sound and the same atmosphere.
