@PrimateApe he can shoot down blimps and fight tactical ninja. Ryu can defeat a archfiend and all of his servants in about the space of half an hour. Hayate is cool but apparently isn't ass skilled as Ryu. He is a master without a doubt but the title of Singular Super Ninja will remain with Ryu until Hayate pries it from Ryu's cold lifeless hands after an epic battle to the death. Who knows, maybe in Ninja Gaiden 3.
