I like Naruto too, but I really don't think it has good characters. It has two characters, basically, Naruto and Sasuke, and everyone else is practically just background. And Naruto is pretty one-dimensional, so it's kinda just Sasuke.
@KeybladeChampion I don't really agree with you on that actually, it does revolve about Naruto and Sasuke and most of the characters are more like background(like tenten) but if you look at characters like Sakura and Kakashi, they feel very important as well. I have a theory on Sasuke: After he saw what burden his brother shouldered, he did he decided to do the exact same thing. That he saw Tobi as the greatest threat to not only the Leaf but the entire world, so to save the world he would throw away everything: His friends, family, and village to be the villain so that in the end he would be able to kill Tobi. So he's basically following in the footsteps of his brother. Course I could be wrong and he's actually fallen far beyond redemption.
Great stuff! Naruto always trys to save sasuke from him self, and everyone thinks naruto should just move on! But naruto and sasuke were like brothers, and naruto still thinks of sasuke that way. So ask your self if, your brother was sad and uncertain, would you give up on him? i recently watced bleach and watched all its episodes in 3 weeks and was greatly influenced by its music , but i must say this that naruto got the best music ,the best plot , the best characters , no other anime can beat it, yes there are some other good animes , but naruto beats them all, its not an anime for me it has become a part of my life...!!!!!!!!

One Piece has a lot of material to keep the story, and it isn't as simple as "I'll travel the 7 seas and become the king of pirates herr derp", it can get more touching than Naruto, and has more charming characters; Naruto is just a bunch of depressed kids, and the king of emos, Sasuke. Can't say the plot is bad, but it's near it's end; unless you add more random filler crap, and make Sasuke escape for like the 100th time.

I will argue that comment and agree with you at the same time. It is the best long running plot line that has not changed from beginning to end. As for shot animes I'd say Code Geass takes the cake.

Naruto doesn't compare to some of the other manga or anime out there. Clannad, Fairy Tail, Fullmetal Alchemist, Durarara!, Code Geass, Death Note, Beelzebub and Shakugan No Shana outshine it with ease.

@akatsuki0081 Nah,the sad songs of Naruto are better than Bleach. But I think Bleach has Naruto beat in the battle music department,in my opinion. Example : Power to Strive and Chokkaku,tell thats not epic. The only Naruto battle songs that actually caught my attention were Heavens Shaking Event and Girei.

There are others that are far better and again imo, I think would be better as longer animes. However in terms of long long running animes of its similar type this is a very good anime.

Sasuke, people see him as the good guy gone bad, but think about it. Your PARENTS are MURDERED right in front of your eyes, that's traumatizing for a 7/8 year old. Usually people go into shock, but he didn't meaning he has a mental issue now, his brother gave him one mission, then he killed his brother, found out the real reason Itach wiped out the clan, and the village that taught him everything wiped out his clan, yo, I don't think I can go through that and still fight. @Abasidaudi93 Sasuke was deceived by Tobi, years back Itachi found Tobi infiltrating Konoha to kill everyone because they turned their backs on him when he was fighting Minato as Tobi is an unknown Uchiha. Itachi promised Tobi to kill the whole Uchiha clan for him and left Sasuke alive. Yet Sasuke only thinks Itachi killed the Uchiha clan because the elders told him to i.e. Danzo, that old man and woman and the third hokage.

@novyak1 I had mixed feelings about Itachi (i know this comment is about sasuke but meh) i thought he was a fucking bad ass when we were led to believe he killed his whole clan just to test him self. But when i found out along with sasuke i cried. It was sad. I really expected/kind of wanted sasuke to go back to the village after SPOILERS killing Danzo. But his mind has been corrupted at first it was corrupted by revenge but then it turned his mind into turmoil when he heard about itachi.

@akatsuki0081 Nah,the sad songs of Naruto are better than Bleach. But I think Bleach has Naruto beat in the battle music department,in my opinion. Example : Power to Strive and Chokkaku,tell thats not epic. The only Naruto battle songs that actually caught my attention were Heavens Shaking Event and Girei.

@akatsuki0081 Really? cuz imo... There are shorter animes that are significantly better. I will agree that Naruto is really good, but I cannot and will not say it is the best. There are others that are far better and again imo, I think would be better as longer animes. However in terms of long long running animes of its similar type this is a very good anime.

Sasuke, people see him as the good guy gone bad, but think about it. Your PARENTS are MURDERED right in front of your eyes, that's traumatizing for a 7/8 year old. Usually people go into shock, but he didn't meaning he has a mental issue now, his brother gave him one mission, then he killed his brother, found out the real reason Itach wiped out the clan, and the village that taught him everything wiped out his clan, yo, I don't think I can go through that and still fight. @Abasidaudi93 Sasuke was deceived by Tobi, years back Itachi found Tobi infiltrating Konoha to kill everyone because they turned their backs on him when he was fighting Minato as Tobi is an unknown Uchiha. Itachi promised Tobi to kill the whole Uchiha clan for him and left Sasuke alive. Yet Sasuke only thinks Itachi killed the Uchiha clan because the elders told him to i.e. Danzo, that old man and woman and the third hokage.

@novyak1 I had mixed feelings about Itachi (i know this comment is about sasuke but meh) i thought he was a fucking bad ass when we were led to believe he killed his whole clan just to test him self. But when i found out along with sasuke i cried. It was sad. I really expected/kind of wanted sasuke to go back to the village after SPOILERS killing Danzo. But his mind has been corrupted at first it was corrupted by revenge but then it turned his mind into turmoil when he heard about itachi.

@xirta1 That's an idiotic thing to say. Itachi was the one who killed his family because he was forced to to it in order to prevent another great ninja war. The only one he didn't kill was his little brother, Sasuke (the one in this pic). Sasuke was crying because of is entire family being murdered by his own brother for reasons he didn't understand. Only emotionless freaks wouldn't cry at some point, having to do that.
