It sucks i've been practicing this song almost every day since january and I am stuck at 78% on expert. I don't get tired but I just can't keep the damn speed of cymbals and rhythm of bass at the same time. I still use the stock RB1 pads too. Maybe I should just only play this song until I get at least 90%

Well I can get a solid 98% on it most of the time. I'd consider hitting the pats light to save energy and stuff. IF that still doesn't help much I'd just do the song in practice mode every so often to build up how long you can keep your energy.

dude the sock thing works wickid well on the rockband 1 drum set get long socks like soccer or baseball socks wrap em around the pad and use a few paper clips on the back to tie it and its sooo sensitive its great, and its a lot quieter =]

i'm quite close to an FC on this, but i have the same problem most people do with songs like this, i start by using the whole pad, then slowly my sticks get closer to eachother, until my right smashes into my left as its still going! funny to watch, and a weird feeling as my left hand flys in the wrong direction, anyway cool enough songs, (yes i play real drums and have for 5 years)

Harmonix mapped hi-hat to red for these types of songs.

They do this because if you have played GH:WT you will find going from a yellow roll to the red pad is very hard and akward. But going from the red pad to yellow is very fluent and fun.

Even on real drums the hi-hat is to the left and the snare is to the right so it is closer to real drums than GH
