by 160 he means base stat. base stat means the absolute lowest it can be at level 50

toxic orb and flame orb activate the ability guts, which doubles the pokemons attack. choice band is an item you can buy for 48 Battle Points at the Battle Tower. WaterExpert while your technically right, choice band does technically power up moves. Choice Banded moves are obviously more powerful than say a life orb move. It raises the pokemons attack stat which increases the power of a move.

Giga Impact is a normal type move. Slaking is a normal type Pokemon. Giga Impact's 140 base power is raised by 1.5 due to STAB (same type attack boost). And yes, Choice Band does raise attack stat by 1.5.

Add those two numbers and it's devastating.

With the PokeRadar, it's quite easy to get a shiny Slaking. Slakoth are swarming Pokemon, which makes them quite easy to chain.

As far as max HP, he probably EV trained it that way with attack. His Slaking is quite slow, so I doubt he put lots of EV's into speed.

Actually, I think return is better. It can have 102 power, compared to 150. I realize that it isn't as strong, but Giga Impact won't let you switch out 1 turn after it is done, giving your opponent a free attack.

Stupid, not you as well. I mean, in in game battles, after you defeat a pokemon, you get a choice to switch, you don't in wi-fi. If you use giga impact and the opponent faints, you still get the option to switch, even though you should be "recharging" so it works well in that sense.

How ever, that doesn't matter to slaking, since he doesn't get a next move regardless...

Slow start is the worst, Regigigas could have been elevated to be equal to slaking if he had truant instead. Unless your opponent agrees to stalls 5 turns for slow start to wear off...

Anyway, Slaking is incredibly powerful, though that sucky Special Defence will let you down.

have a pokemon with amnesia and substitute and use this two attack on that pokemon,use batton pass

and then use slaking because of the amnesia effect slaking will have high sp.defence against the special attack user if you are lucky slaking will have substitute effect on him.great for strategy use

Choice band makes one attack powerful.

STAB means when a pokemon uses a move that matches its type. like when pikachu uses thunder it will be more powerful

macho brace doubles the evs you get (look on google for what evs means)

Giga Impact is 150, plus Choice Band's 1.5x=225, add in STAB equals 337.5, add in his 160 Base Attack, you get 497.5! Give it a PP Up, and you could wipe out a whole team.
